  • Its so unusual sounding... but I absolutely love it!

  • <3 it

  • there was region orchestra in texas today and they said i couldnt go because there are no saxophones in an orchestra...?

  • @Zoro4rk There aren't, read the title and it obviously says Concerto for Soprano Sax and WIND ENSEMBLE. Saxophones show up in orchestra on very slight occasions because they've never really been used in ensembles until the 20th century. The music we play today will always be there, so people are content without a saxophone in orchestra. Deal with it, Trombones never play the melody for more than 20 seconds.

  • @Zoro4rk Time to start composing music for yourself to play :) I remember sight transposing bass and temor clef 'cello parts. . . didn't learn how to play multiphonics, err double-stops, until much later . . .

  • An instrument I favor and hope to hear more of as a standard orchestral member, a nice, fresh and engaging composition, and some really good and enthusiastic young players, Mr. sullivan included, of course.

Thank you. You have all gladdened my day!
