  • Paul still has his Beatle humor!

  • i can't belive that the best musician in this world is jealous of some "Carlos"(with all the respect to carlos of course) (:

  • BACHbird

  • oh dear ...paul get a life

  • @estebanantonio1 oh yeah, like he is reading ur comments...:P u shud think abt getting one :)

  • @estebanantonio1 You should try it yourself Malinoff. Still playing hotels?

  • "I do play that, but I won't just now." haha Paulie. :D

  • Bach and all... Paul McCartney just has to be... Paul McCartney!

  • what is the piece?

  • J. S.Bach is Paul's Musical Father. "The Fool On the hill" is BACH's "Siciliane" "For No One" comes from Bach's music too. "Pany Lane" was inspired by Bach and his "Brandenburg Concert". Paul is good but BACH is greater. Paul is just Bach's musical Kid but he makes music differently.

  • Wow I play that bach piece that Paul plays to show people I can but I just make up what I don't know, I always turn it into blackbird, and that was before I even saw this ahah :D

  • Hey! I know how to play that song!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song the other guy played at the end?

  • @SublimePunch It's the Presto section from the Prelude, Lute Suite No.1 BWV 996

  • Holy smokes blackbird comes from bouree. I had no idea

  • paper bach writer !!

  • does anybody know the name of this song?

  • @PandaBearsEatingCats bourre in e minor

  • @PandaBearsEatingCats I didn't hear a song.

  • Yeah, Blackbird is literally nothing like Bach's song. He just got the inspiration to use that type of fingering to come up with his own completely original composition.

  • @superman11978

I bet you don't read music!

  • i KNEW he stole Blackbirds melody from somewhere,i just KNEW it,because its just not something a rock musician would normally write, same with Michelle, that kinda stuff all came from a classical influence.Just goes to show, its good to listen to all kinds of stuff for inspiration..

  • BACH in the USSR?

  • "thats very nice carlos.. and i DO play that... but just not right now.... " bahahahahhahah omg HE IS TOO FLIPPIN COOL!! hes so down to earth which makes him to relatible and lovable. <3333 i hate famous ppl who treat everyone else like a piece of dirt. wuv u forever paulie <3333333333

  • @Paulmaclover1234 Inspiration doesn't mean than it is stolen !

  • @DoNotObey1 i never said it did...

  • @Paulmaclover1234 sorry,my mistake!

  • Bach in the ussr.

  • i digging the BACH puns =D

  • oh my, he stopped him short ?

  • In case someone's asking, they song is called "bourre in e minor"

  • @bergAgreb thank you ... i actually was wondering

  • @bergAgreb Thanks a lot!!!

  • BACH In The USSR

  • I wonder how fast the gears are turning inside of one of the worlds greatest musical minds, when Carlos is playing that piece. Possibly inspiring a future masterwork?

  • WHO IS THEI GUY.. BACH ?

dunno which metal band does he play

    @-..-@

  • @cbimbi hes with skid row lol ... but actually hes an orchestra composer from around the same time of beethoven and mozart but his non orchestral peices like this are his most popular

  • @caulinrocker1 i think he was being sarcastic.... i hope so. either way, BACH (1685-1750) is the greatest composer that has ever lived, and one of the most fertile minds of the recent millennium. he wrote over a thousand works, ranging from choral works like the b minor mass to lute works to violin works to flute and harpsichord sonatas. i happen to be learning the second piece the man played, and i highly advise everybody to check him out :D

  • @yumeybaconcutout greatest composer yes ... but as in modern day recorded music i think john and paul together made the best music ever in professional music recording

  • @caulinrocker1 sure, i can agree with you on that. but i wasn't disputing that.

  • @yumeybaconcutout i know ... i was trying to cover everything relevent to this video

  • @caulinrocker1 only time will tell.

  • bouree!

  • The Piece that Carlos plays is Bach's Suite no. 1 BWV 996. The piece is divided into different parts. The first part he plays is Bouree and the second part is Passaggio - Presto, or just Presto. They arent actually in order but those are the two parts of the piece he plays. So if you were to search for it you would first search for Suite No. 1 BWV 996 Bouree, and then Suite No. 1 BWV 996 Presto. Hope this helps.

  • I've never seen so many bad puns at once...

  • Wow what a great little clip. Thanks for posting. Its very amusing. " great musicians inspite of their backgrounds.

  • you don't put a hand on a man's fretboard when he's playing Bach that well. I don't care if you're Jesus Christ. It's just wrong.

  • @Dodlemcno You're right, that was disgraceful and wrong.

  • its great Paul respects all genres of music and uses them all in his songs

  • paul does it better

  • @fenderboy797 No he doesn't. Are you deaf?

  • all these bach puns are making my head hurt...

  • What's the second piece that "Carlos" plays?

  • @Emmalala123 The piece carlos plays is the Presto from the same lute suite in Em that the Bouree is taken from.

  • @arfurlife Ok, thanks very much!

  • its cool how every classical guitarist is technically so much better than every rock star.

  • pam pam pam pam pam pa ra ra ra ram pam pam pam pa ra ra ra ram pam pam pam, ram pam pam pa ra ra ra... bach rules

  • what is the name of song

  • to continue the jokes- how about the words in "Golden Slumbers" Once there was a way to get Bach (back_ homeward)?

  • @QueenBeatlesWings haha very good. did you get A LITTLE HELP FROM YOUR FRIENDS.

  • @WCalicoSkies see above, it's the same piece. It's called Bouree.

  • Bach in the USSR?

  • Bourée

Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull does a great performance of it.

  • Oh noes! Right at the end there...did you see Paul nearly drop his guitar? He caught it...

I think that would be related to the random noise right at the end there. I'd scream if I nearly dropped my guitar...

  • Well apart from the fact the guy is worth silly amounts of money enabling him to be able to buy as many guitars as he wants, he's also wearing a strap

  • Of course, in addition to the fact that he's human.

  • and wearing a strap richmoore means exactly what for us novicees??

  • Thats what really sucks sometimes when you're composing music. You'll get an idea for a kick ass melody, start developing it, then realize it was something else you heard a while back.

  • Yes, that´s very nice Paul...

I don´t understand what Paul says after 1:33?, do you?

  • yes, he said "I do play that, I won't just now."....laughter, etc follows

  • "that's very nice carlos i could play that but i wont just now"

  • Comment removed

  • Haha, "thats very nice Carlos". LOL Well Played! :)

  • Please, please, please dont think i am being too critical here, beacuse this is going to sound much worse than intended, but, Paul, is like a slightly drunk person, making speeches at partys, he always recycles the same Blackbird anecdote, whenever, and wherever he can, but i still love him, because, he is a brilliant, genious.

  • oh yeah, you've been to so many parties with Paul, i bet.

  • yeah, he's a right one there was this time once...........no, i have never been to a party with Paul, and i highly doubt i ever will, it was only an analogy, to put into context his overuse of the genisis of Blackbird

  • I think its because he is sick to answer Beatles Questions. Since 1970. :D

There is nothing to critize Paul. He´s a very nice and talented Guy. ;)

  • BACH-bird ?

  • awesome

  • I know this is from over a year ago, but I just coughed out bbq Pringles all over my computer because of your comment. :D

  • Fucking ACE!

  • @ramraker lol

  • @ramraker No, BACH's In The USSR!

  • bach in the ussr, of course...

  • Bach is in the entire scope of music styles

  • bach was a genius

  • Didn't Hey Bulldog have a bit of Bach-ing in it??? He was an influence on Paul because Macca also wrote Bach In The USSR....

  • That's gotta be the fucking lamest joke I've ever read.

  • didnt the beatles write a song about that composer. i think it was called GET BACH.

  • lol

  • haha lol

  • same to you

  • vigneids, try looking in the mirror, im sure that will be the fucking lamest joke you ever saw. try smiling, though if its too much trouble, dont bother. CANADA, U.S.A. 53RD STATE.

  • What the hell are you talking about? You haven't even seen me before. Besides, I already said that the lamest joke I've ever heard is the one that you made.

  • @elizajohn5 lol- u should write more Beatles jokes

  • @elizajohn5 lol

  • @elizajohn5 yes paul loved bach.He wrote so many songs about him like get bach, bach in the ussr, bach seat of my car,he even persuade john to write a song about bach the famous all you need is bach.He loved so much bach that he dedicated a whole album to bach, check it the title is chaos and creation in the bachyard

  • @MyDreamside well it just goes to prove that paul wasnt a bachward person.

  • @elizajohn5 DAMN IT. I made that joke and thought I was original x.x

  • @pinkfurryhat haha, great minds think alike!!

  • Love it, Wish i can film for Paul. Just finished my degree and would love to work. Did my thesis on the beatles

  • What`s the name of the second Bach piece Carlos plays? It`s very beuatiful and I would love to play that piece myself.I`ve been trying for 6 months t find the piece!

    Please help me.......

  • Presto, from the Lute Suite in E minor, BWV 996 by J.S. Bach

  • Thank you very, very much!

  • THIS IS SOOOOO AWESOME.

  • can you give us some more background ?I know the guitarist is the classical guitarist carlos bonnell, based in London. Has paul written a piece for classical guitar he is working on with Carlos ?

  • the classical piece that Paul's meant was Blackbird that was based on the same chord as the Bourée by J.S.Bach

  • ok, but what project is he working on that called for carlos to visit his home ?

  • i really dont know, maybe just a gig with Carlos...who knows?!

  • I would guess it's to work on a mccartney piece for classical guitar. the furnishing is very distinctive, which tells me they are in his east sussex home.

  • Im so amazed by your videos.

    Great

  • cannot wait until the album comes out I hope he plays more classical-sounding stuff like this

  • cannot wait!

  • yeah!
