Post up the shot a little better. That makes sure a lot of the mechanics involved are working. Just hold your finishing pose until the ball hits the pins. This tests your balance and improves your consistency, accuracy, and power. I'm just switching to two handed, and posting it at the line really helps me a bunch.
No I think it is great showing all of your shots. Here is what you need to do. Do not use your left hand at all to help spin the ball, that is why you have a different shot everytime. Let go before the explosion point, and let your right hand push for power and twist for curve. That way, you have more control and consistancy. Hope this helps!
that if you hold your bowling ball like your facing a clock (1 or 2 handed) you want to hold your bowling ball like it's 11 o' clock, then when you go tothrow your bowling ball it will naturally come off your hand which will make it hook (not trying to break your wrist like your doing). Trust me, revs may seem like a cool thing but it's not worth it if you don't know how to bowl correctly with a high rev rate. Keep practicing and I'm sure you will catch on. Let the ball d the work, not you.
I'm sorry but this is probably the worst two hand delivery in a long time. I myself am a two handed bowler and there are two things you should concentrate on. 1.using the middle of the lane not the outside, if you're ever in future tournaments and they lay out a sports pattern and you try and use the outside your done. practice using the middle of the lane. 2. bowling two hands is almost identical to bowling one handed. my old coach who you can look up here on youtube (Vance Sisk) taught me
He's horrible. He's not turning the ball. He's trying to lift up on the side of it, which is wrong. He steps out of his shot, he hops at the foul line he doesn't post the shot. He doesn't have a strong chest and knee bend either. All things that Jason Belmonte, and Osku Palarmaa have. He sucks
@JMIK123 i agree he isnt lifting the ball or putting any hand in it. he is spinning it and flipping his wrist. it looks awful he will probably break his wrist doin that shit
nothing wrong with lofting. It keeps from burning up energy on the front of the lane and will actually go longer and break harder. I would work on your balance at the foul line though. Kick your balance leg out quicker and further and try to strike a pose on your slide foot. Good luck
try to set the ball on the lane... it doesn't bounce, saves energy, and with the conservation of energy will send pins scattering which leads to a higher strike percentage... just try to be smoother basically and don't loft it
ok man look im a two handed bowler and one thing is all i see wrong. when you are letting go u loft it to much in the center of the lane. let it down more and shoot for 3 or 2nd arrow or between. good luck
i dont understand why u would stand left after missing your mark. u came low when u hit ur mark on the first shot, missed your mark left by like 7 boards and then move your feet left? makes no sense, unless these werent shot consecutively. i wouldve waited for a more definite reason before adjusting so drastically, especially after missing so drastically.
just lower down your body when release your ball. use lead hand (left hand for right hand bowler) to control your ball hook. stabilize your body when release your ball. don't make bowling with 2 hand look so difficult when we play bowling
hey dude i would recomend to get lower and dont use your suporting hand to spin the ball, it should come off before your release. Also on your approach try to use the "skip step" to get your slide. Good luck man.
hmm. i would like to ask, are u intending to be a "conventional" 2 handed bowler? there's something wrong...
u shld keep ur body lower so that u release lower, and ur left hand (supporting hand) shld be off the ball before u release, so the right hand does all the rotations...
hope this advice will be good for u and improve ur consistency
hmmm... i get my style by watching belmonte and palermaa, both of them are essentially one handed bowlers, just that the supporting hand acts like a thumb.
this means when you release, the supporting hand should be well off the ball, and all directioning and rev come from your master hand. this conserves more momentum and gives better tempo.
personally, if my supporting hand is stuck to the ball when releasing, my directioning will go off and my revs will decrease....
You have a decent shot. I'm a 2 handed bowler as well, and while I'm by no means great, I'm holding a 160 average, ive been bowling just over a year, and two handed for 3 months. I'm 17. You do lob the ball when you release, if you would let it slide more.
Hey dude you sound pretty cool, im 19 been bowling 2 years two handed and my average in league is 202 over 65 games : ) Should meet up for a bowl sometime
no offense dude, but ur a noob.. focus on improving ur fundamentals first before u even think of using double handed.. look at the way you loft the ball without accuracy.. ur making a fool out of urself
I tend not too slide in, seems to help me. I focus on planting my foot and bowling through the ball, cos it looked liked u was off balance quite a bit.
I am also a two handed bowler, and from what I can tell, you are lofting the ball pretty far out. I used to do that until I found that throwing it shorter is more accurate and consistent. You should try it out.
when i made this, i could have edited it so you only saw 20-30 strikes, but what is the point of that? (take a look at any new ball promo) this is just practice and i thought it would be more informative for the bowler to see all their shots, misses and mistakes and strikes to learn from.
go back to ONE HAND DELIVERY! u r the type of bowlers who make me and other to handed bowlers look bad. YOU TRY TOOOOO HARD! i avg 225-231 for those who will talk shit to me also.
that was stupid...."people like u should be shot".....okkkaaaayy then come and do it 3915 winston dr el monte, ca 91731. if u really want it to happen because i SHOULD get shot then come down baby
I bowl at keystone, come to my face and talk crap. Dude is trying to get better, I guess you dont work on your game. Pure sissy punk pennycoochieassis
i dont need to work on my game honey. let this "dude" talk for himself. yea just cause i gave my info u give me where u bowl......what kind of info is that baby
To stiff, and you need more balance at the point of release... Also what ever you spot at try spoting like 3 closer to cut down the loft.... If you look at the arrows, look at the dots, if you look at the dots try looking at the foul line.
Yeah, I agree, need to cut down on putting the ball out there unless the lanes are really really oily. Another thing I see is balance. You keep stepping off to the right, which is going to push your ball right, and take away from the roll on it. Also, when you release the ball, try to come through it a little more, and not use so much of your top hand to put spin on it.
Try laying the ball down more and lessen on the loft. Laying it down will delay the hook a little longer than if you lofted it and it will make you more consistent
@sourcetags Yeah, he looks pretty good, definetly just needs to cut down the loft, and try to stay behind the ball more on release to give more control+accuracy
