if you are asking...

Yes without a clutch the wheels with turn as soon as you turn on the engine and the engine will stall as soon as you stop the go kart. So its best to get a clutch.

just make sure to find one that fits the shalf & chain. On my engine its 3/4" shaft and chain is #35

think on gokartsupply you click on chains and it tells you what chain is what number.
