Although I love the Metroid Prime games, I've always wished the charge combos, the super missile being a major exception, were more useable, and ideally, useful. That goes double for the charge combos in Echoes. 30(60) ammo AND 5 missiles? YEEESH!!!
@LegendarySonic14: As far as I know, no. The only thing is the Save Station. To recharge ammo, it's reccomended to go back to your ship, and from there to the Sky Temple.
ok pwzzz can chu help meh i can't find that fliping sj's temple key ish the onwy 1 i have yet tu find but i have nu stupid clue as tu WTF it ish + it's the onwy 1 i need left can chu help meh find the spot where it ish pwzzzz =< ???
@shadowdragonx07: Unless you give us more specifics, we cannot even begin to guess which key you're missing. If you need help, try GameFaqs. They have a lot of FAQs with the listing of the Sky Temple Keys in there. Else, watch all of the parts of this video walkthrough starting at when you get the Light Suit and until this video and pay close attention.
Starting from this save-point, is it possible to return to the remainder of the Sky Sanctuary, Great Temple, and remainder of the game-map?
I'm playing this game for the first time on the Metroid Prime Trilogy here, and I'm just watching as a guide to help me kill the boss. I'm ignoring spoilers.
Thank you. Now I won't be so reluctant to save before the final boss, out of fear of inability to backtrack for fun. I guess this means the only real point of no return, would be after defeating this boss.
I'll be attempting all of this today, so wish me luck!
Talk about a speedkill xD this boss usually takes longer. I guess most people are just afraid to use the annihilator beam because it drains ammo so quickly
I'm trying to beat this dude on Hypermode. I can barely do damage to the first form before it kills me. Only because i can't dodge that attack when the tentacles move around the room. Space-jumping over them doesn't help, they're too high, and morphing doesn't help either. Can anyone tell me how to dodge that attack? On top of that, i have all the E-Tanks
dude you havent even played that boss yet, have you? Its fuckin hard when you actually get to it. Trust me, its just that this guy already knows wha he is doing
Notice when Samus takes energy from another Dark Temple, the sky turns red and that area becomes unstable. Even if Samus is there holding the energy. Kind of makes sense to me. Since this was the last Energy Controller, Samus taking it causes Dark Aether to collapse.
Yeah you can. If you actually read what it said after you beat it, you would've seen that it asked you if you want to finish that save and start over.
i know but my point was that if you save it at the end of the game on the gamecube version, it does not delete your file, BTW thanks for your walkthroughs, they were entertaining
I must say, I found this fight to be quite easy for this late in the game. After you beat back his irst form, you can merely Spider Ball around him for as long as you please, replenishing whatever you may have lost or expended in the first phase.
However, I cannot say the same for Dark Samus. But, that's why I love the MP Trilogy. Truly challenging boss fights.
nah uh dude...i did that...after a really long time...he just filled the place with that purple gas crap....but not just part of the..THE WHOLE PLACE!!...and i tryied waiting for him 2 take down the gas (lol) but he wouldnt =O so i just destroyed that last thingy that u hav 2 destroy with ur bombs >>
One of rare reasons I hate Annihilator Beam : too powerful. We see that IS Normal difficulty. Once you get the trilogy, you MUST do it in Hypermode, the hardest difficulty. It's like so crual and... easy.
But, is Wii's "normal" easier than the GC's "normal" mode, "Veteran" the original GC "normal" mode and "hard" GC's original mode? Or Wii's "normal" and "veteran" are the GC's "Normal" and "Hard" and Wii's "Hard" mode is even harder than the GC's original hard mode?
I don't know if you understand me... perhaps I'm not explaning myself very well...
I've seen enough henti to know where this is going.

@BloodHarvest21 I like it. It makes it so all beams are useful for the entire game, and adds strategy.

He was playing on Normal, which is the lowest difficulty in Trilogy. On Veteran, he is considerably harder.

Yes. When you save it there, it finishes that save. If you had said no, you would've been at your last save before you beat it.
