Using Emerald or Imprudence viewers, you can upload a temporary image to be certain it doesnt look like crap-in the upload $10 window theres a checkbox "Upload temporary image (free)". The image may still be seen by you until you clear your cache, but the temp image vanishes after a time period...and if you leave the sim (rezz in another sim) it will always appear as if its loading & wont show the texture.
If you build with temp images/sculpts, dont forget their names, so you can fix them later
I have been trying using pictures I've taken in RL and in SL to put on the t shirt but it comes out all screwed up. Like the main part of the image is on the side or the back of the shirt. How can I fix this?
There are several videos that explain how to make a graphic to load into Second Life. I created the graphic I made by using the upper body template available from the Second Life web site and adding text and a background color to it in Powerpoint and saving it as a jpeg. Photoshop will yield a higher quality. Any picture you upload can be used as a "texture" on any object or clothing. Good luck!

How do you get the texture to be in one location. (like the back or front) All my textures spread over the entire shirt even down the sleeves.

I rather let other people do my clothes.
Have to spend some money but looks much better
