their basicly the same but the original is going to be better for media because it has 4 sd card slots and has 4 usb part were as the slim is better for movie watching and vid game playing because of the lesser brakedown rate lesser overheat rate imposibilty of geting the ylod and using less power and eing able to replace the hardrive easier and wihout voiding the gurantee so they both have thier goo and bad parts

you obviously have no idea what u are talking about. i have Call of Duty world at war for my Wii and i prefer it to the PS3 version. i think using the Wii zapper is more fun than using a plain controller. and i happen to love mario kart. and the ps3's now only cost like $20 more than a Wii.

No they don't. Maybe in your case. But the majority of times they don't. The Xbox 360 has a higher failure rate than the PS3. If you take care of your consoles, they usually last long. My PS1 and PS2 still work and I bought them ages ago

The news is all over the internet if you want to research it incase you don't believe me. I believe it is to reduce costs and it seems to be working. SONY reported a 75% decrease in production of the PS3 so this means that they'll start making a profit now from the system. And if the PS3 SLIM turns out to be true then that will reduce costs of production even more which means more of a profit for SONY.

Well, in Europe it cost 249 euro in Italy, Portugal is selling PS3's for 299 euro with Killzone 2 and with 5 games such as Infamous, Motorstorm 2, Mirror's Edge, Wrestling game and another game I don't remember at 399 euro (the usual price for a PS3 80GB in Europe without games). Gamestops in Spain is selling PS3 80GB with a game for 299 euro. One thing they needs to bundle with is bluetooth headset it's so silence on PSN.
