yeah some places are dickish about legal systems. it honestly depends what the charges are and where you live. certain charges your pretty much put in county jail and told your innocent until proven guilty. misdermenor charges are more of your county court and magistrate courts. i had a jerk for a judge a few yrs back. i had an attorney but wasnt allowed to use him. the judge said i had to use their attorney.
