  • One problem, people don't want to be responsible these days. They would rather shove the blame/responsibility onto someone's shoulders. They want the easy way out, no matter what the issue is.

I always wondered ..... just how wealthy is Dave Ramsey? Of course, he's out for NO# 1 -- all gurus are.

  • if you live in fear, skip to 3:52 to hear what Dave Ramsey has to say.

  • 10 years ago I bought 14 Karat gold (jewelry) as cheap as $10 a gram, nowadays it goes for at least $20 a gram at the pawn shops. Gold prices have gone up over the years. Yet if I go to pawn my jewelry or go to Cash for Gold, I'm lucky if I can break even, $100 in 2010 is not the same as $100 (in 2000). The dollar has weakened.

  • i do agree entirely. I must also say, personal responsibility is all well and good when it is the individuals decision to be smart and responsible. In saying that, the government can use this same personal responsibility in their socialistic adjenda. "If you don't do what we tell you to and be responsible for the good of everyone, you will be fined and thrown in prison for years.

  • You rock Dave! I would ask why you are not a Czar, but then I remembered that you actually love this country and the people in it.

  • The greedy banks are crying "poor mouth" while spending MILLIONS lobbying our congresspersons to pass BILLIONS of dollars in bailout money. STOP giving them your business. STOP supporting their usurious credit system. Boycott the Fraudulent Reserve banking system. Owing unsecured debt is NOT a crime.

TAKE BACK YOUR MONEY, AMERICA !!!

    watch?v=SG0gcw6cqto

  • Yes it is!! Spending money you dont have on credit cards and refusing to pay it back is stealing plain & simple!! people like you are the reason we are in this mess.

  • You appear to be unaware of the fact that a private cartel of International bankers was granted special permission to create money out of thin air and then "lend" it back to everyone else at interest - at a huge profit - especially when you take into consideration that the principal was created out of nothing except a process of equating the loan (AKA asset to the lending bank) with a liability (loan deposit accessible to the borrower) so that the books appear to balance - break even.

  • Now ask yourself if YOU are legally permitted to lend out funds that you do not already have. Are YOU allowed to lend at a profit by simply creating a loan balance on your books (a liability) that could then be spent by a borrower, who is expected to repay both the principal plus interest?

Then ask yourself - if you were allowed to do that, and if that borrower fails to repay your loan (created out of nothing but a bookkeeping entry), what, exactly, has that borrower stolen from you?

  • The only remedy for America is what Mr. T

    said in Rocky 3, "Pain".

  • The first Socialist Bailout was george w. bush's, or don't you recall him going on TV September 24, 2008 to sell it to America out of fear, like he sold the wrongful and unaffordable attack of Iraq?

Incidentally, since you aren't too bright, bush's Socialist package cost the same amount as the current, but not fully realized, cost of Iraq, which is up to $750 Billion, at $10 Billion a month. bush kept this off the budget, but Obama disclosed it.

Obama will fix your re-publi-tard mistakes.

  • "Obama will fix your re-publi-tard mistakes."

I disagree, I think he's making all the same mistakes fiscally. He's spending money that DOESN'T EXIST. That WILL cause inflation and that's a stealth tax and it's a flat tax (arguably a regressive tax) because it hits everyone, rich or poor. That doesn't seem to be in keeping with Obama's liberal philosophy.

  • I did not agree with the initial auto industry bailout either. obama is a may day marching socialist. he rules by dictate and his czars without any controls. Within his first 52 days in office, he spent more than our country has spent in our entire history.

  • Im in Iraq for my second tour here. how much is it worth to remove a mass-murdering regime from power? how much is it worth to stop the filling of mass graves with old men and woman, children who have been raped and murdered, just because they were the wrong ethnic group?

  • Are you speaking of Saddam Hussein or george w. bush? Saddam was a lightweight compared to mass murderer and War Criminal bush; who will prosecute bush is the question. bush killed not only his own troops, without cause, but he and his administration caused the deaths of over 1.3 million innocent Iraqis. We commend you for your service, but couldn't disagree more with your perspective. Murder is murder, bush or Saddam. Stay well.

  • If you want to support free market capitalism, dont vote either Republican or Democrat, both want to tax your money. GOP's will spend it on wars that bring no money to the taxpayers, and Dems waste it on lousy Welfare programs that don't encourage people to help themselves. Don't fool yourself into thinking Bush was better than Obama Bush nationalized (Socialized) the banks he and Neo-Cons are a Commies best friend...Obama is just going to be the last nail in the coffin.

  • Sorry, I still don't see the consistent history where Republicans are war mongers. Republicans have the right idea, but none of them are ACTING like Republicans.

I am a Ron Paul Republican, and I refuse to let the party go, this is what we have to work with. If we could bring the GOP back to its roots, we could make REAL positive change, not Marxism change.

  • Good Luck with that, I'm a Democrat that's only being a Democrat, because of the ass the Republican Party has made itself for the last 10 years. I'm more of a fiscal conservative, but when the NeoCons were in power they had massive military spending and nationalizing of banks...Ridiculous, I don't think Ron Paul's (Gold Standard) policy is good but for the love of god someone stop the debt from rising.

  • Wanna stop the debt? Want to stop inflation? Abolish the "Federal" Reserve and abolish fractional reserve banking.

You know what, I'm sick of hearing everybody say "I'm a fiscal conservative." Oh eat it already, "everybody" is a fiscal conservative. What you want them to waste our tax dollars? No.

Obama is no fiscal conservative, and we knew it going in. You thought Bush was bad? Just wait.

Just don't go around, "uhh uhh I'm a fiscal conservative" if you voted for this poor schlub.

  • I agree the FR needs to be abolished, you won't see me argue with you on that.

As far as Obama being a schlub, he was better than McCain, all McCain was going to do was allow the ship to sink. Yes the bailout stinks, but the US needs to quickly start investing into something productive (and War is not it) in order to keep the USD from becoming the next Yugoslav dollar, which it quickly is becoming.

  • The US "PEOPLE" need to invest in something productive, not the US "GOVERNMENT". So let us keep our money, right?

  • well, that's fine&dandy, but people don't know what the hell to do with money when they get it (You think ppl were paying off debt or buying stock options with those stimulus checks?) Yes tax cuts are good, but people want National Health Care which I'm in favor for, because in case anyone is wondering...it's all ready here (You think that octuplet Mom is going to pay her medical bills? think again) Might as well have regulation so ridiculous and expensive IVF procedures wont occur frequently.

  • dave ramsey bustin heads once again

  • This country has been on a rocket sled towards socialism since the Lincoln. Anyone who disagrees with this is just ignorant of history. Anyone disagreeing with this in light of this "bailout" is simply borderline retarded. Government always grows and this absurd generation of Americans who feel entitled to other peoples' money will bring it down.

  • Much of what he says is correct. However, please, this is not "socialism." Our policies are a continuation of the redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the rich. Yes, we all have to take responsibility for our own actions. However, there is a place for the government to protect its citizens from the greed of trans-national corporations. I believe in capitalism, just not predatory capitalism. The politicians on both sides of the aisle are corrupt and have sold out America.

  • A continuation of the redistribution of wealth from the midde class to the rich? You freakin idiot... the "rich" pay 70% of the taxes...how is wealth being transferred FROM the middle class to the "rich"? So freakin dumb..

  • Through the federal reserve system and the expansion of the money supply. Those who get to use the money first benefit before inflation.

  • Amen.

  • Thank You Dave!

Wake up America, Washington is corrupt, and Washington is not capable of fixing this mess. Prepare yourselves. Go ahead call me crazy, we'll see.
