I was soooo lucky to get the most amazing Jack Russell terrier. He used to belong to my friend and I used to visit him so much in part because I loved his dog. Then one magical evening, with tears in his eyes my friend came to my house to give me his beloved dog ( he was no longer able to keep him ) This is the best dog I've ever had, but i was lucky because he did al the hard work of training him. They are so smart it's almost creepy and they are so much fun. This dog is NOT for everyone though

*sigh* I had a JRT for four years named Dante. He was a faithful companion. You'd never meet a braver and more courageous dog. I swear by Jack Russells. They are truly the most energetic, fun, and faithful breed out there. They have their character flaws (territorial, moody) but that's what makes them so charming :)

my is sooo lazyy I have to pamper him. When he gose to sleep he will bark at me for his pillow I will put it down then he would lie down but not put his head on the pillow then he starts to whine then i put the pillow on head. I love him

we are thinking of gettin a jack russell but arent they quite snappy vicious dogs because i have two guinea pigs aswell

Yes I love my two jacks,But they were bred to hunt,My female is the hunter and kills any kitten I get (Not big cats just kittens!! especially small mammals.. But she wasn't raised around them, If you get the jackrussell as a little puppy and raise it with the guinea pigs,it would be ok I think.. But yes both of mine nip at other animals to try and get them to move and play with them,you can't brake what they were bred to do... Hunt... Good luck on the puppy you choose :)
