Trees like that used to bother me on an approach when I was learning at 1N2 in Long Island, but now I tend to use them as a sort of a crude VASI. Cross Keys looks like a nice place both for flying and jumping.
Thanks for the info. I first soloed at Crosskeys and haven't been there in a couple years since this video. I came in too fast for this runway and thus the video shows. One time I almost hit a skydiver as he was crossing over the runway right in front of us during take-off.
I've watched many a landing at Cross Keys....looks like an interesting approach from either end! Trees, then runway! I love watching the guys that operate for Freefall adventures come in, they seem to make a fun deal out of it!
i miss that view, i used to fly out of South Jersey Reg. (VAY) been to cross keys plenty of times!

Oh and they reasphualted the runway now so it will makes for some silky smooth landings.

How much does it cost for training at Cross Keys? Its the closest airport to me and I want to take lessons but need to know how much?

good landing just a tip though if you just hold your attitude and slowly take out the power youll just sink down and you wount float as far...
