It is a little child biased but it would have been cruel to stop her totally. What irritates me is that if she hadn't broken down i highly doubt she would have gone through over Greg, as her singing has nowhere near as interesting at Greg's singular duet.

Her screw-up was her success, and it made sure she impressed the judges with her courage not her talent.

Plus Simon always votes for a kid to get through and hates people that don't fit into his frame, why he thought Greg was "freakish"

The other singers don't get to try it again if they screw up at the start or the middle, like Grey and Susan Boyle did. They just get heckled. So yeah, good point :P. Don;t worry though, if she didn't even win that Semi-Final with all the sympathy votes, no way she can win tonight. =D
