At Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford we have fascinating objects crammed into cases, but little room for labels / interpretation. This could be what we're looking for, either linking to wikipedia or or own generated content. I like the multi-lingual aspect though. A colleague here apparently flirted with the idea of QR codes a few years ago but abandoned it as it was thought smartphones would never catch on as a mass-use gadget. Hmm...! Cheers for posting.
