  • amazing job !!!!

  • So beautiful. Stephen Foster would love to know that his music is still loved and enjoyed to this day. Thank you so much.

  • mikey it was so beautiful i know you played it for me :)

  • what instrument are you playing? that was cool though.

  • that is so cool!

  • most excellent

  • wow, simply beautiful. My mother used to sing this to me when I was little...er....haha. yeah, I'm STILL a little girl...she would sometimes mess up some lyrics in most lullabies and settle for some spanish song she must've learned when she was little in Cuba.

I'm an amateur Violin player, and would absolutely ADORE to 'Beautiful Dreamer' on the Violin!!

  • Dude you rock....i play piano, and have always loooved the mandolin. this is truly badass. although foster may be turning in his grave right now!!! haha nicely done!

  • Excellent job.

  • man i broke my crack pipe

  • could you reference me to a site or some other source on how to play tremolo like that? I'm a self taught mandolinist, so it's hard for me to do without ever actually knowing what to do...

  • okay thanks

  • Thank you all for your comments!

  • do you know of a lyrical version of beautiful dreamer on the piano? or does anyone have the original song sang by the creator? been dying to hear the real thing. great job by the way

  • Hi MuayTyler. Beautiful Dreamer was actually first published in the late 1800's shortly after the death of it's composer, Stephen Foster. But even though the creator couldn't record the song, the original published sheet music for piano has been preserved and is available for free over the internet. If you want to hear a piano version as it would sound in the 1800's, look up a cd titled "American Dreamer".

  • this is awesome xD excellent job

  • Mama,,,,MaMa Mia!!!!...... Great performance!!

  • He's weird looking but it reminds me of old country

  • That was beautiful...really enjoyed it.

  • this guys a nerd but hes good

  • grawr I love that song

  • I like your mandolin playing. It's great. But, the piano arpeggio background is too repetitious and takes away from the song. I think it would sound better with soft guitar struming in the background.

  • agree =) but still great!

  • Nice :)

  • Cool! I bet most people in school can not name this lovely tune today.

  • very nice...thanks

  • hey you got a weber... cool. its a good instrument!

  • I had never watch this kind of instrument. Very interesting. Fine performance.
