  • the sound is terrible. really cool :)

  • who else covers mozart and beethoven and strides the world like a collosus?

  • Thanks, Paul, that is great footage. Stirling work, old chap.

  • @misterquizzz i respect ur admiration of ian but really thats like saying hendrix plays a cool guitar!!

anderson might just have been born with the flute in his hand!

  • He plays a cool flute

  • j love jethro tull!!!!

  • Me too!

  • good jam but terrible soud

  • the original version is infinitely better than this one

  • Like a wedding

  • how i wish ian was my father

  • I'm your father NOW CLEAN YOUR ROOM !

  • Wish this had been a soundboard recording. The chatter ruins it.

  • It was a free concert and the audience was formed by all kind of people. That's why I preffer to buy a ticket :)

  • @photo2010 fucking idiots babbling on like a brook of mindless chatter not caring who they offend, nevermind their lack of taste for a master flautist at his craft.

  • Tellement agréable ...WOW /so tastefully Yan made!

  • Wow! This is fantastic. Great music, but I can't believe the cunts talking in the background!!

  • BTW, this is not Jethro Tull. This is Ian Anderson's "Rubbing Elbows" band, or it's "Ian Anderson performs orchestral Jethro Tull". That is Kit and Dave from Bristol, England on guitar and bass - not Martin, and Ian's son James Duncan is on the drums - not Doane Perry...

  • ok, right :) sounds good anyway

  • No, you're fine. Based on the pictures connected to the event (including banners and coffee mugs) they certainly WERE billed as Jethro Tull. And the promo info lists the guitarist as Florian Opahle - whose hair looks a bit like Martin Barre's (40 years ago, or so!) :-)

  • This tour was billed as IAN ANDERSON PLAYS THE ORCHESTRAL JETHRO TULL.

  • Are you sure? The tull orchestral tour was Ian with a Full orchestra not just 4 from the band!

Ian first did this Mozart piece for the Mozart celebration at Christmas in 06

  • As a musician, nothing pisses me off more than listening to people TALKING in the background while these amazing performers are onstage. It is so rude and distracting and there is no excuse for it!

  • I would have them killed! :-)

  • Such a great band after more than 4 decades! Thanks for uploading.

  • Ian Anderson is amazing! He refuses to give up singing.. I probably wouldn't either. It'd be fun to be him. Without him singing he wouldn't have much fun.

  • ugh ... this is finally to the point of overdoing the hateful accordian and the lounge flute music ... ian does not know when to stop.

  • To each their own, I'm not a huge fan of it or anything but think it's cool that he doesn't let himself be constrained by labels or convention. JT would never have produced the awesome music they did if they had.

  • So, you don't like Ian's influences? As with all good musicians he's willing to experiment and try some "Fusion". Without this fusion you'd have none of your favourite music. You're obviously not a Musician and, may I say, very small minded.

  • This very very nice!!

  • Awesome

  • Simply amazing

  • I really liked this video. Thanks for posting.
