If you are not prior service than you have no room for comments on how females serve in combat situations or abroad. I firmly agree that females can indeed serve their country, however their physical capabilities does not permit them to be on the frontlines serving in combat situations. It is just factual and anyone who believes they can serve, should decide if they are willing to put other people's lives on the line just so that we can live in a politically correct world.

After watching this video how can any American not feel great respect for Airman Knox and her sisters in arms. As a middle-aged man I felt for years that women had no place anywhere near combat but women like Robin Knox (who volunteered for a second tour) have changed my mind. If our military thinks they can get the job done, these women deserve complete support from all of us. back home. They are true heroes.

She was well respected by her fellow troops by doing her job well. Females in the Army are a joke. I'm Infantry and we stopped having females go out on our missions because they are useless. We used to have female searchers but they would refuse to leave the A/C because it was to hot. Then one refused to share the same tent on a checkpoint as men so we had to make special accomidations for her to sleep. Any female who is worth a shit is that way because she "Chooses" to be. In contrast to male Soldiers who are "Required" to perform their duties.

As a former female 1st Cav medic, I can tell you that most women who choose this MOS are already mentally tough and if they aren't quite as physically strong as the boys they run with, then, as I did in my line unit, they spend lots of time on extra PT and weight training so that they can always be relied upon to carry out the mission.

I spent 20 years in the military and retired. I can tell you from first-hand experience, most females in the service were trouble. Long deployments turn them into whores and they break up a lot of marriages. Just ask anyone thats served.

She was well respected by her fellow troops by doing her job well. From what i have read it did affect the male solders because she was a female, but regardless of her gender from her personality she was well liked. Females in the Army are a joke. I'm Infantry and we stopped having females go out on our missions because they are useless. We used to have female searchers but they would refuse to leave the A/C because it was to hot. Then one refused to share the same tent on a checkpoint as men so we had to make special accomidations for her to sleep. Any female who is worth a shit is that way because she "Chooses" to be. In contrast to male Soldiers who are "Required" to perform their duties.

As a former female 1st Cav medic, I can tell you that most women who choose this MOS are already mentally tough and if they aren't quite as physically strong as the boys they run with, then, as I did in my line unit, they spend lots of time on extra PT and weight training so that they can always be relied upon to carry out the mission.

@IamYou86 women dont pull triggers to begin with. they know how to shoot a gun, but are not held to the same standards as men. In the military woman purposely kept out of harms way and for proof of that just look at how many men come back in caskets as aposed to women. Plus you didnt even understand my comment. @CAS53507 There is only one standard for marksmanship, not a male/female standard. There are females on patrol with infantry soldiers on the ground these days, so you have no idea what you are talking about.

She's definitely one of those right-place-right-time airmen. I wish I had that opportunity when I was in. The military seems to retain medical specialties better than others. Pretty much a made woman, anything she wants. I just hope she presses the advantage.
There are far too many underprivileged airmen these days. : /
