  • I get many in person autographs and I have never sold 1 The most i'd do is trade it for another player

  • eBay...

  • That woman is so inconsiderate. Sidney is the only person that would have stayed cool in that situation. I can't believe she did that. Wow..

  • That woman was being extremely selfish. But Sid still seemed to handle her so well. What an awesome guy :)

  • Who's that lady behind him?????!

I wanna know, for research purposes, can someone tell me? :(

  • @ayeshapatel87 Director of Communications for the Penguins.

  • crazy lady with a bunch of cats probably.

  • what happened was the lady who says she feels like crap comes to the practice facility everyday to get autographs but the kids arent usually there so when he sees all these kids who only come once a year he signs for them first and the dumbass lady gets mad and trys to guilt trip him into signing more for her so he says" ill get you later but they only come once a year, i think its fair i sign for them before you right?" wat a dumb bitch

  • "it just makes me feel like crap, you know". Man up, you cow. He doesn't owe you anything.

  • Wait what did the woman say about crap??? Feel like crap somethin??

  • LOL I'm one of those obsessed girls, and I was wondering who that lady behind Sid was.

  • There every day? Sounds like she needs something better to do.

  • he was telling the one lady on the far right that shes there everyday and some of the other people are there once a year so its fair that he signs them first.

  • @jgzero23 No, he was telling her that he did not come out earlier to sign for the people outside because there was a Canadian kids hockey team that come down once every year, so he spent more time visiting with them that day. She was just being weird and selfish.

  • On that penguins that u got Crosby to sign the autograph is so similiar to the one on my jersey is the 87 upside down.

  • @pastelpinkgirly I wrote about it in the description.

  • Haha my name is jodie Lmfao

  • what was that lady saying

  • @emsx0xx Read the description or other comments.

  • hehe your so lucky:)

  • Aww, I love your penguin; its is so precious! :) I also love how calmly Sid handled Ms. Psychopath. Haha. Awesome video! :D

  • you tell em Sid

  • This is one of my favorite videos, because that is such a nice thing for you to do for your friend; even getting a video of him signing it. He seems like a very nice person too.

  • my brothers goes to duquesne university

  • The lady that was complaining gives me a definate "stalker" vibe. No wonder they hate sighning autogrphs.

  • @poodtang1 I wouldn't say the guys hate signing, Sid still signs very frequently, he just doesn't stick around for very long. It depends on how crazy the people are.

  • I agree. He could spend hours every day, and you know a lot of people just sell the stuff, but I think the majority are true fans. I like that he's always attentive to kids.

  • aww that was really cute & sweet! & for ur birthday too!? what more can u ask for! i feel so happy for u cuz its not every day ppl have an opportunity to get an autograph of someone ur a fan of. hope someday i could be in ur shoes! :] i would treasure it all my life, not just cuz its sid, but those moments with anyone is special.

  • @LiveLaughLove2207 Well, it wasn't my birthday; I posted the video for a friend's birthday. But I do cherish meeting Sid, and every player I've met. :) I love those guys.

  • Hey I was wondering how did you get Sidney Crosbys auto. I have been tryingm to get his auto for 4 years

  • @729Chance Go to the Igloo after practices and games.

  • 729Chance, you can write to CAA (Creative Artists Agency), and request an autograph. It's not the same as in person, but I just thought I'd let you know.

  • I don't get it. Was he telling the girl he was talking to, not to come all the time? Cause he has other people to give autographs to?

  • @humairaapatel Not at all. The woman received autographs after every practice because she visited often, but on this day she felt that she was entitled to the same exclusive time which Sidney gave to a youth hockey team from Canada who visits once a year. She was basically selfish. Sidney explained to her why he spent time with the kids and why that was fair of him to do.

  • JEALOUS. =']

    such a cute penguin ahah.

    he's lovely:)

  • heyyy.. where is this??? i wanna see him too!! he's rarely in Canada :(

  • This is outside of Gate 2 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.

  • stalker

  • @CocaineLord oh yeah. and your not a fan of ANYONE! jeeez!

  • Of course I am, because I'm the only Pens fan who has ever sought autographs at the Igloo. The rest of the crowd by the fence was obviously waiting for the bus.

  • You are getting too much credit and you don't even realize it. Most people in the U.S don't even realize they are getting fat..

  • Oh, it's genetics, it's in your genes, not your diet.

  • What are you on about?

  • stupid lady

  • That lady was being really selfish.

  • @rachelx1129 what a pain in the ass.

  • @livelaughlove084 lol i know right :p

  • @rachelx1129 what was she being selfish about i couldnt hear

  • @HockeyManiaReviews Because apparently she's there at practices to get things signed and when Sid wouldn't because she's there all the time she threw a fit. He said the youth hockey team that were there only come once a year and it's only fair to sign for them. You know this is all in the description...

  • @kanayd Holy shit you're fucking ignorant, then again you're from philthy PA's armpit. Guess i'd be in a bad mood every morning i wake up in a slum like that. West PA is the best PA =) that's a fact.

  • If I were that woman I would never show my face again lol! What an idiot talking back to Sid like that! I was at a Pens game on Monday and I was just excited to get a pic of him when he was doing an interview right below me, but of course I'd like to meet him one day :) Some people are just so ungreatful!

  • Haha I guess the lady in front of u gets a lot of autos he was saying something about that

  • I think he like "ur here like everyday"

    l

ucky lady, getting to be there everyday, and at least he talk to her.

  • i wish i could go to a pens game about how much does one ticket cost

  • I love your little penguin, its so cute! Its really cool you got the chance to have Sid sign it for you in person! :)

  • Thanks, you can get a penguin customized for you, $15 each, $8 of which goes to the Mario Lemieux Foundation! They're really adorable, and I have three. :) Google "Roaming Penguins" if you're interested.

  • OMG! I WAS THERE!!!!!! AHHHHH!!! he signed my jersey! omg that was the best day ever! he took forever to come over and sign. he was like talking then stopped and talked again THEN FINALLY he came over! to bad staal didn't sign. he just went off in his escalade!

  • I am going to Pittsburgh for the first time to see a game on December 27th. Being a Penguins fan from New York, I am never able to see them and possibly get their autographs. Can you possibly tell me what time the Penguins have their practice, what time they usually come out to sign and where they sign? Thank You!!!

  • The Penguins typically hit the ice at 10:30 AM-ish for practice, but practices aren't usually open to the public. You'll want to be at Gate 2 at around 11:30 AM or 11:45, because at around 12 the boys begin leaving for their cars. Gate 2 is easy to find because on ANY game day, fans are there. I'll warn you that the Pens leave quickly, and not all of them will sign. Some Pens will leave later than others. You can also wait by Gate 2 after the game for autographs. Have fun!

  • Thank you soooo much!!!! I hope I see Sid!!!

  • No problem! :) I hope you get lots of autographs!

  • I hope so too, lets go pens!!!

  • it's just that millions of others want the same thing you do. all of the players try their best, but they just can't hit everybody. try not to take it personally, they appreciate each and every one of their fans. if they didn't, they wouldn't sign autographs or participate in events. but the matter is that they do. they are good guys and worked very hard to get us the first Stanley Cup in 17 years, so just be grateful and proud that you got to be a witness to that. we love you, guys! GO PENS!!!!

  • here's another thing, it's AFTER PRACTICE! the last thing Sid probably feels like getting is grief from a fan after he just did a hard, tiring practice. i personally would be grateful with just SEEING him in the flesh. i went to Training Camp this past year with the Steelers and i could have gone down to get an autograph, but i enjoyed just watching them sign the autographs for the kids. they get such joy out of it. not that it's bad to want an autograph.

  • i understand where the lady is coming from, i finally got a day off work to go down to the arena and get some autographs with my son. we waited for 3 hours and then when sidney came out to sign he passed us up and my son was so upset. if their going to sign, sign for everyone!

  • You misunderstand. The fan is upset because, although she waits after practice very frequently --and Sid recognized her because he signs for her so often-- he spent extra time face-to-face with a young hockey team visiting from Ontario. Is that so terrible?

Sid didn't deliberately pass by your son. He likely didn't see you (just like he didn't see us), but he certainly takes special care to sign for children. Just call out to him, don't expect him to automatically see your son among the crowd.

  • Also, nowhere is it written in stone that players HAVE to sign for every single person who wants an autograph. If they did, they would never be able to leave the arena. This is why Malkin never signs after practices or games, and why players may sometimes walk away after signing for so many people. While it would be nice for everyone to get autographs from a player, they have lives outside of the arena and the constant swarms of fans. Asking players to sign for everyone would be unreasonable.

  • yes indeed i would be mad too but i love sid the kid in a non gay way

  • love it! Do you know how many times I have waited by that fence and never have success? I lot. You are very lucky. Good job girls.

  • If you keep waiting after practices, you'll meet him. Sid stops surprisingly frequently, although not for long.

  • Hey "spazzingfangirl" did you notice that when Sid signed your penguin (which by the way I love it's so cute and did you make it?) he didn't put "87" he only put "8" lol maybe cause he was in a rush, but anyways nice video. You're lucky, I can never meet him cause here in Toronto the fans are crazy and just crowd him.

To your friend who was filming, thanks so much! You got his nice behind which it totally squeezable!! lol Good job girls!

  • Yeah, we noticed it later :) Sid actually signed 87 upside down. Can't blame him, he was in a rush!

I didn't make the yarn penguin, but you can purchase them at a blog that you should be able to find by Googling "Roaming Penguins blog" (I can't post the link here). Proceeds benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation. :)

I am the one filming, by the way. The girl with the penguin is my sister.

  • wow I can't believe those fans did that . . when was this taken btw & great video : ]

  • This was taken on the morning of Nov. 14th, just after the Pens' game day practice.

  • hi! great video, who is the girl is behind sidney?

  • I explain who she is in the video description.

  • i would be so scared to talk

back to sidney. I would be so ashamed

of myself he is so loveable

  • Yeah, I don't know how that "fan" has the guts to talk back to Sid like that when he already has the courtesy to sign for her every day. Some people are unbelievable.

  • People are obnoxioux and come every day and try to get signatures. Meanwhile kids who get to go to maybe one game a year cant get to the player b/c of greedy people like her.

  • That's basically what Sid said without being too rude. And I think that even worse than those fans are the guys who just want signatures for merchandise and bring truckloads of stuff for the players to sign... and then run after the cars when they stop at the intersection. THAT makes me angry.

  • It's tough to catch Sid too, and he is also referring to folks who are solely there for getting items signed for resale. I had to put up a chase to get my jersey signed and he put "to Bob" thinking that I was selling it- meanwhile I was nervous. He's awesome.

  • @grizelda71 I would feel really stupid if I was her, he signs autographs for her everyday and instead of being grateful she complains...she probably sells the autographs anyway. I would feel stupid just for having Sid lecture me about.

  • what was he talking about at the beginning?

  • i think the lady was complaining how sometimes the players dont sign things..... and he was telling her that if she comes hell sign it?? maybe...

  • I edited the video description to explain this. I THINK I understood the conversation :)
