I was a freshmen in 86 when there was a massive snowball fight, about 200 AUs vs about 500 techies. It occurred on the bridge where Delta was/is. Each side could advance just over the bridge but you would run out of snow and have to retreat. After about 40 minutes the Techies got smart and just charged driving all the AU students back to the Dorms. During this time cars driving by were stopped and rocked by the techies. Nobody got really hurt and it was fun but completely out of control.
