This is bullcrap load of info, yes alot of info is true but most were bullcrap. You said alot were pre rendered footage, but there were no proof if they were, lots of this came from your ass.
Notice aroung 400 million dollars plus was spent on the avatar movie to produce cinematic quality computer graphics which was pre rendered and not in realtime. Look at the game of avatar and compare it to the film and see how far it is from the visual quality of the film. I would say it would cost twice as much to produce the game with the same visuals as the film and a good number of years too.
Image metrics is in it's infancy so we still have a long wait before we can get movie quality graphics in realtime. We are still in the age where consoles are trying to catch up to the resolutions and frame rates of enthusiast gaming pc's like Alienware. Also game developers are under limited schedules and man power to produce Hollywood style movie games with professional actors.

this is wrong.. GTA4 runs smoother and better on PS3 and microsoft payed them about 50 million dollar to get dlc WHICH ps3 now will get also... loading times are quicker because of that 3.4 gb install

I've had all systems since their launch, but slowly as I've been getting older have been selling them. I've sold the wii, since it had no games i could play for a long time, and recently sold the xbox 360 since as of Feb 2009 the PS3 and the 360 are identical except for online in which the 360 is better. I agree with the video that sony screwed up the launch of the ps3 and that they acted arrogantly, but I think it would be unfair to say that to some degree they have improved.
Games like Killzone 2 and Gran turismo 5 still looks amasing. 2xAA is almost not anything at all. You really start noticing difference when you're going above 4xAA. Sony also claimed that the PS3 will be a 10 year console. We have much to look forward too when the game developers really start getting into it
Well i played the PS3 for the first time about 2 months ago and i played Resident Evil 5 and it was crap the graphics were super slow you could tell the FPS was around 20 to 25Fps max. to me it was unplayable. since then ive not touch another PS3, I have played resident evil 5 on xbox 360 and it ran alot better and i dont own either.
plus i knew that PS3 system was really crap, its an uneven system to little of GPU power to much CPU power..
i dont have a ps3... ofcourse it runs smooth but it runs heavy. as if your trying to make an old man run with a zimoframe. and it runs around 20 to 25fps. while xbox is around 30 to 36fps.

Killzone players may not buy Uncharted. so you end up with low sales. sales reflect acceptance. something sells well when ppl accept that it is good and it matches their preferences. so we can argue quality for ever but sales will still show what ppl think. doesnt make either of us right or wrong but shows whose views are more popular.

As for the kinect, the way its selling it needs games, we are too busy playing cod and reach.

All "HD" games on consoles run @ 600p and are UPSCALED to 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. The only realy system you can get full 1080p on is the PC, due to it being the most powerful.

I don’t even play video games, but when I got ahold of this Sony press conference in 2005, I began to get really exited about the potential for video games. Notice aroung 400 million dollars plus was spent on the avatar movie to produce cinematic quality computer graphics which was pre rendered and not in realtime. Look at the game of avatar and compare it to the film and see how far it is from the visual quality of the film. I would say it would cost twice as much to produce the game with the same visuals as the film and a good number of years too.

Image metrics is in it's infancy so we still have a long wait before we can get movie quality graphics in realtime. We are still in the age where consoles are trying to catch up to the resolutions and frame rates of enthusiast gaming pc's like Alienware. Also game developers are under limited schedules and man power to produce Hollywood style movie games with professional actors.

I've had all systems since their launch, but slowly as I've been getting older have been selling them. I've sold the wii, since it had no games i could play for a long time, and recently sold the xbox 360 since as of Feb 2009 the PS3 and the 360 are identical except for online in which the 360 is better. I agree with the video that sony screwed up the launch of the ps3 and that they acted arrogantly, but I think it would be unfair to say that to some degree they have improved.

nope, PS3 and the 360 are not identical in multiplatform games at all.
PS3 usually : lower fps, no AA, lower resolution and no 1080p upscale support. And i'm not mentioning online.
I got used to it long ago, do not see any improvements in this, so I'm buying only exclusive games for PS3.

Games like Killzone 2 and Gran turismo 5 still looks amasing. 2xAA is almost not anything at all. You really start noticing difference when you're going above 4xAA. Sony also claimed that the PS3 will be a 10 year console. We have much to look forward too when the game developers really start getting into it

Well i played the PS3 for the first time about 2 months ago and i played Resident Evil 5 and it was crap the graphics were super slow you could tell the FPS was around 20 to 25Fps max. to me it was unplayable. since then ive not touch another PS3, I have played resident evil 5 on xbox 360 and it ran alot better and i dont own either.
plus i knew that PS3 system was really crap, its an uneven system to little of GPU power to much CPU power..

Killzone 2 plays exactly like the footage shown and looks even better then the E3 showing. MGS4 looks better then anything Xbox 360 could produce.
