  • You realise a car is just a hunk of metal once it starts sliding, that you have limited control even when you THINK you are in control. Specially when it's cold, if it looks clear: watch out.

  • Teen Driving Safety is a serious problem. It's not the Teen Driver who is at fault, It's that the education they receive is lacking and incomplete. Passing a road test is not sufficient.

  • lol i had to pause the video okay ahahahahahahahahha there u go

  • When I am on ice i shift to 2 initially and then 1 which helps to slow you down with the engine. (i drive an automatic pickup truck so i slide even when it is just rain.) biggest thing is to just try to keep the car where you want it to go

  • im glad i dont live were theres ice =)

  • i live in colorado and we just got a big snow storm. i was going around 20 mph and slid into the middle of the intersection. i think i was doing everything right i was even pumping the brake and not holding it down

  • thats why u start slowing down way before the intersection.. i live in colo too

  • @tyler114050 pumping the brake is (from the education iv received) one of the worst things you can do, because you're essentially not really slowing down the car effectively, it may have caused skidding too. the best way to slow your car down in pretty much any situation is called threshold braking. it's basically like regular gradual stopping, but your more aggressive. in a way it's simulating ABS, u press on the brake to the point where it's JUST BEFORE your wheels lock up.
