This show was just funny. It wasn't a documentary about black people, just a comedy, and one of the funniest comedies ever featuring some great performers.

ya know, I grew-up in the South East, born in 1950,,, had it not been for this tv show, I would have never known much about African-Americans,,, this was one of my favorite shows~ besides the Lone Ranger! People make plenty of fun of those of us from the SOUTH,,, and that's suppose to be a-ok,,,, hmmmmmm.

You are the best. Thanks so much for posting these episodes. Sadly I feel they won't be around long before every PC person starts complaining. What a shame this show will never get a proper dvd release in this PC world we live in. I love this show.
