He's made of a lot of very large, very intimidating polygons. The colors are a bit garish, but who is going to argue with Grungust Type-3 colors, especially when you are being Hammered in the face?

It took a month or so to write the animation tool, input the vertex lists and then make the animations. The animations are played back in realtime in the game, unfortunately I didn't know how much Game Maker's polygon-drawing would lag on some people's machines. :( Especially when you try recording it. Other boss fights with polygons (Iosa, Asha2) tend to lag for some people as well.

You can use retribution. It's not very useful against Tor, simply because of the difficulty in getting close enough more most of the explosions to hit.

Two things:

Tor only uses the phantom hammer if you do not reflect his shots.

You can dodge the phantom hammer by lying on the ground, because Tor then can't lift you.

I could be wrong on this, but I think he'll only use the Phantom Hammer on you if you let two of the orbs circle him. Rather than shooting another orb, he'll absorb the orbs and use the Phantom Hammer. I could be completely wrong on this though. >.>

He only uses his special attacks when he has three. It's either the Phantom Hammer, or something more difficult to avoid, but much weaker.

Those split missiles are sooooo annoying. To dodge them you have to jump over the low one and under the top one, twice. But if Tor shoots those purple things first there's basically now way to avoid taking a hit.

Max assimilate and not maxed strength help. Assimilate gives 3+ hp per health point and being knocked down by the MPFB helped me avoid some of his attacks, especially the missile.

I noticed that if you get hit by the phantom hammer, the entire bottom menu clears out. It's a nice touch.

And of course, with a well timed jump, the PH can be dodged.
