Thanks man. I like "raunchy" & mean sounding cars. No reliability issues. Have about 15k on the odo and had one issue with a broken gas pedal.

My '06 IX MR also had one unscheduled dealer visit. I bought it new and put about 35k miles on it. Took it to the dealer for an oil change and they found a crushed bushing on one of the sway bars. I didn't even realize it :)

These cars are some of the most reliable performance cars out there. Of course...

...once you start modding, like any car, anything goes if you don't do things correctly or put the correct supporting mods/tune. If Mitsu doesn't cut their own balls off and turn the Evo into a hybrid joke, then I'd definitely continue owning them. :)

@ApexIXMR Well one reason I want an evo is to get one of the last ones before they get discontinued or turned into an electric/hybrid. I suppose of the 2013 is still a 2.0 petrol i'd feel kind of dumb buying an X on it's way out.

Thanks man. It is a bit loud, but I don't drive it around much and i'm going to be getting myself another daily driver so I don't put miles on it or waste so much money on gas.

I don't drive it it after 9 in the morning or before 10 at night so i'm being considerate to others. Besides, it's still not nearly as loud as some of the Harleys and choppers that blast around town every now and then. THOSE are a nuisance to everyone hehe.

And I don't have a problem being a nuisance I enjoy it start up the car at like 6 in the morning and wake up the whole neighborhood :D. Yeah, i've only put almost 15k in the nearly-two years I've had it since getting it new. But you know, these things are expensive when you have them as DDs. Tires, oil, gas, etc, starts adding up with these things. My IX MR was the same way.

I had an itch to get a new Jeep Wrangler. Sold the IX MR in like 2 days, lol(demand much), and got myself a new '08 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Was a awesome change, but it wasn't long until I missed having an Evo. So I ended up getting myself a new X. Love it. The IX was nice, but the X is just a different car. I like them both and wouldn't prefer one to the other honestly.
