  • Why all shooters try to be a SNIPER and not thinking of using .308??

Buy all kind of fancy scopes and only with .223 and short barrel I feel like wast money

    - If I was u guy I go with 26 inches to use with .223 for long distances

.308 then install with scope and everything with longest barrel

    - replace M4 for UZI - Else I stay simple with M16A1 more beffier than A2 and even lighter like M4 and M16A1 Vietnam Era is the one can take more abuse than M4 and A2 with all electronic toys around

  • I have looked through both. Glass is very good in the Viper. Although I was not able to do a side by side comparison as in your case. What are you opinions in the glass of the Vortex at distances greater than 700 yards?

  • THEM SUM SEXY BITCHES...

  • Those are both great scopes but you cant really compare them how you did IMO. What about Glass clarity, Reticle, illumination, Tracking, Holding zero, turrets etc.. all of those things is what makes a good scope. You could have thrown a TASCO $50 Scope on there and got the same results as this video. On another note you have some nice setups there I hear those BCM rifles are great. And obviously your optics are all top notch.

  • Cool video

  • Coll video

  • Dragonmans outside of Colorado Springs?

  • I also own the 6-24x50 PST mil/mil. I love the scope. I have never used a Nightforce but I have to say, for $900, this is one hell of a scope!

  • nice :) I was trying to decide on the viper vs a nightforce, and ended up getting the vortex viper pst 6-24x50 FFP since it was about $1,100 cheaper lol.

Glad to see you like it :) Mine is on a bolt action .308 remington 700 5r, can't wait to finally shoot it :):):)

  • I like the LaRue UDE kit rifle. I have the same kit, anyway how do you like that cheek riser from LaRue,? I just did a range day yesterday (see video "Finally Part 3 of recent upgrades...the results") and feel I need a bit more for my fat face....how's the weight of it. My rifle is already a frickin pig, more weight would suck...

  • @fatboyR6 Hey man, the RISR Is actually pretty light. with my dumb guestimation its lighter than my acs stock on my eotech rifle. But im not sure. you do get a good cheek weld though. im gonna go check out your vid now.

  • good subject

  • Were you using a block or something to support the gun and what was the yardage? How do you like that grip pod on the Sig? I don't like mine and am going to sell it. Too bulky and too sloppy for any accuracy.

  • @thenetwerx Yeah i used a block with the recce, it is 100 yards. the grip pod is ok but like you said it wobbles but its enough to get the job done for me. it also has the light in it.

  • @paranormalg35 hey, are you shooting at dragonmans in co sprgs?

  • @paranormalg35 nice rifles! I've been looking into buying that exact vortex scope for a while now. Has it held up well?

  • @tippymaster14 yes its great.. i recommend it

  • @paranormalg35 nice. are you on the co-ar15 message boards by chance?

  • @tippymaster14 yep sure am

  • @paranormalg35 you should definitely come down to the pueblo tactical rifle matches this year, I think with your recce rifle you'd love them (that is if you have already been and I just havent seen you there)

  • @tippymaster14 yeah that sounds fun ill have to check one out when i get back from iraq. thanks

  • @paranormalg35 sounds good, hope to see you there.

    thanks for your service
