You are talking about 2004 YFZ's, the 06 and on have a different crank shaft than the 04-05 models, 07 and on have an oil squirter at bottom of the crank case to squirt oil onto the under side of the piston for better lubrication... Does the 450R do this, don't think so.

it doesnt need it because it doesnt blow up, and all hondas are reliable unlike piece of shit yamahas, the 2004 yfz's didnt have the oil squirter so they all blew up, it took yamaha a year of a shitty bike to figure out their problem

yfz has 5 valves, 450r has 4.

The compression ratios are different and 450r suspension is a joke compared to the YFZ.

They both don't match up to the LT-R and I think we all can agree on that. The LT-R is way more upgradeable and if you uncork the exhaust, pull of the air box lid and add a 40 dollar cherry bomb you add 7 horsepower. No need to worry about rejetting with a power commander you can adjust your fuel maps to the T...

I've ridden them all and I hope Honda DRASTICALLY improves it.

Get some fasst handle bars, motocross ones are the same size as stock just fyi. You should also get a K&N Air filter and a new pipe. And new graphics or take those gaphics off.
