  • Kevin Nealon plays classical guitar?

  • Why his position is so strange?

    Very good guitarrist!

  • 240p we meet again

  • Bravo!! I like This Bouree. Thank You!!!

  • bravo!

  • Very easy to listen to. Very hard to do. Swan.

  • perfection

  • never heard him play, but he can do it with great ease.

  • bach is the best of classical genre

  • very nice...!

  • It's really difficult NOT to have facial ticks (especially mouth grimaces) when you're playing classical guitar (or any guitar for that matter)! The music part of your brain must also send electrical signals to your mouth at the same time.

  • I think he orgasms at his own awesomeness at 1:26.

...And I can hardly blame him.

  • one of bach's best pieces

  • i like how hes holding his guitar

  • @LowKeyFloa dude thats how all classical players postion there guitar.

  • @pspcrazed I think he means how it's pointed downwards instead of slightly up and the headstock being so low. Usually, the headstock's about eye level. His position is quite...unique.

  • oui

  • Completely brilliant performance of such an intricate piece of music!

    pixie

  • Good job an Andrea Segovia favorite...

  • His right-hand technique is nearly identical to that of Rey de la Torre!

  • beautiful

good to hear more Bach and not just cello and lute suites

  • Oh, beautiful.

  • i thought both of his feet were on the pedal at the starting : )

  • I have thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks for sharing it!

  • Superb performance! But at time stamp 1:25-1:30 - those facial expressions remind me of Kramer from Seinfeld.

  • @CearaQC hahaha certainly! Seinfield is one of my all time fav series!!! XDD

  • very nice tone and playing!

  • where can i find tabs for this song??

  • i LOVE bach's compositions!!!

    but dude that guy's huge!!!

  • amazing

  • This is the best guitar interpretation of the Bourrée of BWV 1002 on YouTube.

  • bravo

  • awesome!!

  • beautiful.

  • Quite Classy

  • caca das good!!!!!

  • I wan tto learn classical guitar really bad, I think I am going to buy one soon, it looks fun.

  • Awsome/5*****/ Fav

  • 'et' is 'and' in french?

  • yes, it is.

  • this song is called bourre and double, or there are two songs play togheter? if somebady knows please respond.

  • The double refers to the fact that in the suite the same musical style is repeated. So if there is first a bourre than the double is just another bourre in the suit. Typically in a suite there is a prelude, bourre, allemande, courante, gigue...

  • The Double is not recorded in this track. I play this Bourre and the accompnying Double also.

The performance is fine, although a little more music making coukld be expected.

  • I agree.

  • The Double is a written out "improvisation" on the chord progression of the piece that precedes it. In other words, you can play the Double and the Bouree together and they will fit together. Try this with the Sarabande and Double from the B Minor Violin Sonata. I'm sure you already know this point.

  • a comment to other comments: As long as the sound is good and pleasing to the ear, who cares the way it is made. Allot of the best artists and scholars where non conformists, they had there own way of doing things. After all a painting is still a painting regardless of how it is painted.

  • dam i wish

    i could play like this

  • very nice !!!

  • How exciting! what a performance.

  • Como siempre la musica de Bach es tan grata a los oidos.Hacìa mucho que no escuchaba este tema.Muchas gracias, ayuda a vivir

    Juan

  • Awesome playing Michael Laucke /5*****/Favorited.

  • Check out another awesome Bach's piece on electric

  • are you all seriously going to banter over positioning? jeez...everyones a damn critic

whatever feels comfortable i say...christ people, just enjoy the performance

  • Probably a grade 7 piece? Seems just slightly too difficult for a grade 6.

  • someone reply to me

  • What grade is this piece?

  • Its grade A

  • This is a classical position and it is used by Pepe Romero. The position is such that the 2 guitar bout will rest on the 2 thighs.

    Check out Pepe' video.

  • I see no problem with the position. The title has no claims that he is playing in the classical style. just that he is playing on a classical guitar.

  • its a true classical stnace to sit like that with thumb on the back of hedstock

  • Great playing, but why is he holding the guitar like that?

  • its a true classical stance also with the thumb on the back of the headstock

  • Very nice playing indeed!

  • does anyone of you have the tab of it... with LHF?... please... or maybe the note... with LHF also... i'll be greatful

  • The tab is @ classtab dot org The piece is BWV 1002 Bach Bouree partita #1. The piece is ONLY the Bouree and not the double as listed.

  • yes but dude i want (left hand fingering position) i'm having alot of problems with that... so please

  • Are those pieces form a Cello Suite?

  • Very nice see my videos of classical guitar tky

  • darkxhino, i mean the guitar is not a good quality, better are avaible

  • The video transfer may not ve really good quality; the guitar is great - it is a Neil Hebert hand-made classical guitar specially made for and tailored to Mr. Laucke's specifications. It was played in 200 concerts a year from the White House, to Carnegie Hall, to the Great Wall of China. It is insured for $60,000...

  • parsajan its a classic guitar man ! not crap dude u idiot!

  • can someone plz tab this im dying to no, me and my guitar teacher have been searching for this tab for the longest time and still havent seen it, so plz

  • All of bach's music has sheet music out. Learn to read sheet music and play it that way.

Just take it apart bit by bit and find out what chords are being played, find the fingering for them, and you got it.

Of course, it's going to take you a long time to get this done, and be able to play it on guitar....

  • learn music theory

  • learn to read sheet music, dude. You will never find it on tabs, simply because people who can play it learned ir from sheet music

  • beautiful... and the 70s set is very cool

  • This is a brilliant video, and it is as close to perfection as you can get. It is everything I wanted it to be.

  • What this piece succeeds in is to make the fantasy work. What makes this piece great is that it involves you with its developement and leaves you with a very catchy melody. I came into this work with extremely high expectations and I was pleased to see such a marvelous piece.

  • smooth...and super clear, expressive and musical. Thanks.
