that said, 07 Si and 00 Si are pretty equal in a straight line stock for stock or with minor bolt ons ...unless the new one gets a reflash.(then itll be quite a bit quicker)

b16 and k20 are both great motors with potential, it depends on the driver and mods. it takes half the driver and half the car to win a race. but b16 stock vs k20 stock, im sure you guys know the outcome. let me help you, K20! not hatin on the b16 b/c i do own one myself. but dam all this shit talkin, chill.

stock for stock they are pretty even thanks in part to the heavier weight of the newer car. simple bolts ons, k20 responds much better especially with a reflash.

The b series is still great, as is the K series(not the a3). Youd hope that almost 20 years later they wouldve improved on the b somewhat and they have. That doesnt mean the b sucks though.

Well i own a 06 rsx-s and a 99si....I respect my rsx but my si is the shit!!!!! K20 is smooth and has more balls in town. I have Not much done to the rsx-s, just coldair exhaust and reflash. But im positive my modded si will kill it!

I've beaten a 2000 civic si with a stock EP3 Si. The 2000 had i/h/e and one of those fake blow off valves installed in the muffler. LOL. It is all a matter of torque. The B16 has 111 Lbs. of torque. Now I'm not hating on the B16, it's a great motor, but buy a car with a K20 and you'll change your allegiance.

put down the crack pipe please. for one thing you got more mods and ones that count(ie: cams). of course youll pull on a bone stock k20. however a k20 doesnt need cams to wake up. intake and a hondata reflash and youll get walked by a k20. k20 is a way better /improved motor. i like b series to but the k has more potential.

stock for stock b series vtec and k20a2,z1 are even.

but the k responds better to simple bolt ons.

Suave seriously, You are talking about end performance from the cars, thats not directly related to the engine.

A K20Z3 has the same redline as a B16, and nearly the same efficiency, but has alot more torque.

The engine is way more powerfull, put it in the same car and you will see the difference.

your crazy k series are the best honda engines made, well the f20/22 are nice. but do some research k20a is a over rated over priced junk, its all about the k20a2 k24a2, and k24a1 with a2 head. do yourself a favor and go on k20a. org you'll be swapping that b16 as soon as you can come up with the cash
