I'm not the kind of guy who does "reviews" on youtube but thanks God I saw the play with the original cast. Simply can´t compare, especially Krysta, she is completely amazing. Bebe and Nathan are awesome individually and even better together. Well, of course that´s just my opinion, but I feel lucky to saw that live with the other Addams!

I saw this with Brooke and she is a MUCH better singer than Bebe listening to the soundtrack. Rachel is a much better singer and a good actress but Krysta stole it with acting.

Well I'm just going to say to everyone out there,,i think Rachel is AMAZING!! All the other Wednesdays were good but Rachel definitely plays Wednesday perfectly for the context of this musical!! She is an Amazing singer and actress and i think everyone needs to stop saying bad things about Rachel and the other people in the addams family! they are all phenomenal! If you don't like it! then simply don't watch the video!!

I think the Chicago version is overall so much better. The sword fight between Gomez and Morticia may have been unrelated to the plot, but it was fantastic nonetheless. Uncool.

Everywhere there is debate about whose better, look you cannot blame anyone for wanting to put there spin on the character, everyone is saying the original is the best, that's because it is hard to match the original for anything, your also used to seeing the original cast and aren't used to seeing the new one you can't determine whose better unless they are both doing the same thing as each other but they r not, I love both versions of the cast and screw you to anyone who disagrees

I am very disappointed with Brooke, Rachel, and Roger. It's not their fault that they aren't right for the parts, but seriously, it's like whoever cast them is blind deaf and dumb. So glad that they aren't on the tour.

Rachel, to me, is a more preppy Wednesday. As opposed to Krysta who was more of the dark, classical Wednesday. But in context to the show, Wednesday is preppy and attempts to resist the brighter side but can't control her desires which I think Rachel does perfectly. But don't get me wrong, Krysta was an amazing Wednesday but Rachel, I think, is just a great fit!!!

Very nice try...but I think there was some casting issues in the 2011 cast-it looks to me they tried to create the Bebe Morticia look on Brooke. The Gomez I am NOT a fan of...I think they could've done a little better this time around as far as casting.

One thing that I recognized with this new cast is that they seem to be singing the songs to fast and from the way they're talking it sounds like their trying to hard and it shows. Not putting down the actors/actresses or anything, but with them singing faster than the original cast the spooky charm was lost...

And is it just me or does this Mrs. Benieke look like little orphan Annie???

I actually think Roger Rees is really good in this role, very reminiscent of Raul Julia's take on the role....Rachel may be a tad better than Krysta but both are great, but don't get me started on how horrific Brooke Shields is.

I saw the Addams family with Bebe Neuwirth, Nathan Lane, krysta , jesse Swenson, and pugsleys understudy, logan Rowland. Krysta IS Wednesday. And I am convinced that morticia was made for Bebe Neuwirth. The cast I saw was better than what is currently on broadway. The cast currently on broadway is incredible but I personally like the cast I saw better.

i think Rachel plays a very fine Wednesday (yes, she is NO Krysta) but in this one preformance......i dont know......her singing pulled in this video...she looks uncomfortable and awkward....i wish i could see her singing it a different time so i knew for sure, but just in this preformance alone, she doesnt pull off the song as well as Krysta.

Rachel i think needs to be more into her song "Pulled". Seeing Krysta do it was amazing. She was so expressive and really into her staging. Rachel has a beautiful voice, she should just really be looking like she's being "pulled" instead of just going through the movements and have more spark in her eyes.

I had no expectations from Brooke Shields, so I was impressed (some). Bebe Neuwirth was just perfect for the role. Rachel Potter is incredibly talented (sounds a bit like Annaleigh Ashford too!) but her movements seemed forced and not as natural as Krysta Rodriguez. I think that with a few more years she can become so much better and that she has an amazing career ahead of her! Roger Rees was good, but he lacks the enthusiasm and wild recklessness that is who Gomez is and Nathan Lane embodied!

I like Brooke and Rachel as Morticia and Wednesday, but Bebe and Krysta will always be the orginals, and rightfully hold their place. But Roger is a the perfect successor for Nathan. They are equals in their talent. My personal opinion only. I will say though, Without the originals, the show has lost a some of it's quirky charm, even though the new cast is great.

i saw the full original cast and it was spectacular. when i heard that bebe and nathan and krysta left i was so upset. brook cant do morticia the way bebe did and i feel super lucky to have seen them all together. also i'm sure rachel is good, but krysta's energy reeeeallly made that character for me, rachel doesn't seem to have any real creepiness goin' on here. but i haven't seen her so i probably shouldnt judge.

I loved loved loved Krysta, but Rachel does do great. Rachel brings her own view as Wednesday and its something I have to get used to. BUT BEBE is the only one who can play the true Morticia. Brooke just is a little too over the top.

You have to be grateful that there are people willing to fill the shoes of those who did end up leaving the show :) Just give them a chance, this is the beginning of their run.... they'll get better!!!
