We have my grandmother's churn which looks a lot like the one Wilma Lee is holding.

This song is great. It's so good to hear The Cooper's voices and also their fiddle and banjo.The dobro is good too. I love the pictures you have posted here. Seeing Wilma holding the churn handle (dasher) in her hand reminds me of when my grannie used to churn milk and make butter. The taste of fresh churned butter is unsurpassed. The real thing. I also love the Coopers' song "Big Midnight Special". That's one only Wilma Lee can do justice to I feel. Thanks for posting - Paula (Kentucky)
