They have always been (and always will be) a part of Western discourse. If you believe that there is a Jewish conspiracy against whites, think that there would never have been Christianity without them: it first spread in the Jewish communities that were scattered throughout the Roman Empire as a Jewish sect.

@MooMooManist How would it then be possible to separate Jewsih influence from Western thought? Should we reject Christianity? Should we go back to pagan beliefs? I'm actually not against turning to pre-Christian thought for some inspiration: pre-Socratics, Plato, Aristotle, Hellenistic and Roman philosophers are also rich sources of our culture that we often forget to consult. But I certainly wouldn't reject my Christian heritage, and, by the same token, deny its Jewish imprint.

Actually, it's nonsense to talk about Western culture as separate from Judaism - the two are inexorably linked. As for usury and debt, I don't know that Jews invented it or introduced it to Europe. In any case, without loans the Italian Renaissance (and by extension, European) would never have happened, as that is how merchants got their funds to go on their expedition.

Zionism is a nationalistic movement - a political question, and you are morally entitled (rightly so, in my opinion) to oppose it. In fact, I think that the Israel lobby (just like many too-powerful lobbies) in Washington is detrimental to American interests. But don't conflate Zionism with all the Jewish people. Just like I wouldn't say that all (or even most) Texans or Virginians are secessionists.

It can mean many things, ranging from the use and spread of technology, the establishment of a nation-state, to the adoption of a market economy, etc. In any case, it is a fact (whether good or bad) that we cannot turn back the clock of History. Very few peoples today can live in isolation and not have to address these questions. The problem is that too often, they are not given the OPPORTUNITY to address them.

That there is a consciousness, or culture, among all peoples is a priori true. This consciousness needs to be encouraged to deal with the issues of modernity as they are inescapable. @arronnov I didn't express myself correctly. What I meant is that every culture has its OWN consciousness and that none should be dismissed. Nonetheless, regardless of the culture, all peoples have to address modernity in one way or another, because it is unavoidable. I do believe that most, if not all, cultures are equipped to foster what we all value: justice, solidarity, respect, etc. It's a tragedy that some have suffered in the hands of others, supposedly in the name of these same ideals.

The first is for recording these ancestral traditions and cultures before they disappear or change radically, as the spread of modernity (whether technological or cultural) is influencing more and more peoples. The second purpose is that modern academia has come to recognize foreign cultures as valuable sources of learning. If only we knew how (and DARED) to apply what we learn in a way that was just to everybody!

There then came a time in Eastern Russia a group of people known as the Khazars adopted Judaism as their own religion and started to believe themselves to be the original Israelites (which they aren't) eventually they made their way into Europe...

MacDonald acknowledges that years of persecution may have caused this unified movement of Jewish intellectualism, but why did this persecution begin? What was so unique about Judiaism to cause this sustained persecution? If I was to make an amateurish suggestion, since Judaism was arguably the first monotheistic religion, did the claim of the Jews being the chosen people threaten other tribalistic societies, which relied on the deification and worship of certain figures?
