  • Lol look... federer has a short backswing and still his swinging with big long swings o.O

  • looks like he wants to have sex with the racquet, lol

  • fed really does??? maybe he's using a prostaff with a 90 sq head and 16x19 pattern coz when I see close up photos of him with his racquet it has a 16x19 string pattern the classic prostaff has 16x18.....I mean yeah maybe fed is using a different racquet

  • Federer uses a custom stick with a custom paint job. Most of the pros do this.

  • what does that mean.... is it like Fed is using a racquet "specifically" made for him not sold in the market then has a pj of a six one??

  • Type this into Google and you will understand "The Roger Federer Racquet Uncovered "

  • oh then I'm almost correct ^^

  • why dont they put the pro staffs back on the market they are the best

  • @CircusAndVincent

They have a K ProStaf 88... I ensure you that once the BLX version of this frame comes out, you'll throw you old Pro Staff into the wall! Most people who played the nCode version thought of it as way lesser forgiving than than Pete's favourite stick despite having 2 more sq. in. to offer.

The K factor version employs goes further and bounds the SiO2 to the graphite: nothing has ever felt more united, more solid, more stiff.

  • @CircusAndVincent

And, there has been some amateurs who tried the BLX version of the 6.1 90tour and one of them had struck with those ProStaff... it remebered him of his favourite stick with an even more clear feel at contact.

Seriously, those old frames have nothing to come close to that; it's such a crisp contact that you could stop and draw where the ball touched your strings... Also, the K factor and BLX are more forgiving than people think because the material reacts as a unit.

  • @GueorguiJoukov yeah but if the blx comes out I assure you it will, I will move into the BLX series but till then I'm still using my old stick.

  • @CircusAndVincent

I was just telling you why they were not making Pete's favourite stick anymore and why the technologies have evolved.

I'm probably going to buy a 6.1 tour 90, either K factor or BLX. If it truly feels that crisp, it's going to be awesome for me: it's just so tempting to aim at the line and rip the ball! But, if you hit with a ProStaff88, you won't have any hard time adjusting to the head, thin beam and weight - you'll just benefit from it.

  • @GueorguiJoukov I under stand what you mean but I am used to a heaver frame that dosent flex under forces.

  • @CircusAndVincent

High modulus NCoded graphite interlapped with basalt fibers makes an hard start to find anything stiffer...

  • whats the string pattern?

  • 16x19

  • certainly, ive done it before

  • sweet racket, but this guy couldnt make it sound duller

  • yup

  • actually this racket is rather excellent, it is somewhat heavy, so you need to have a nice amount of stamina to balance it. Helps me with my serves a lot, I am to generate a lot more aces, and by backhand performance increased tremendously with this racket, forehand however has become rather harder and more difficult for the sweet spot. A hard to master racket, however produces excellent results.

  • too heavy and too thin enough said.

  • that's subjective to preference.

  • I love this racquet really... The suck point of this racquet is when you mishit... I have friends who told me not to buy this one because its too small but when I used it the sweetspot is really ... sweet^_^

  • this is a great racquet, i was at newks awhile ago and demoed this racquet from my dormate, and could hit almost every shot with this, its no wonder why federer is as great as he is, aside from his pure skill that is.

  • nah man,he's not as good as he was with his n6.1 tour

  • do you know that federer still uses the first prostaff he's ever played with? it's just a paintjob dude.

  • yup, i learned that from my friend last year because he got his hands on one.(fella went pro in my state so that's how he got access).

  • that's cool. hey do you know where i can get a paintjob on my racquet? i use the dunlop aerogel 4D 200 , but i want to get it painted like the ksix one tour or just make the blue on the racquet look like a reddish color like the prestige.

  • sounds like you just dont know how to play tennis yet hazer94

sound like a n00b to me

stick to the walmart racquets next time junior

  • TRUE

  • lol.

  • pretty much, this racket is superior, just need a lot of stamina

  • Guyes dont buy thise raquet..think about it..how many players play wiht thise one??? well...roger federer does....can you say someone eles???

ive tried it you get a hell of a many wrong hits

and its a hard played racket

  • this would probably be my next racquet, awesome

  • build up a strong wrist and you cant fail with it
