@jaketaz I have heard "real tenors" sing without microphones. Some of them are trying so hard to produce volume that it completely ruins what they are trying to achieve. Loudness isn't everything and a singer should be judged on more than how gut -busting the noise he produces is. Bocelli has a mellowness of tone that is very hard to compete with.
