he was 1 meter from me, but i didnt smell nothing cause itry not to breath while filmimng him

as far as i know their smell comes from the poppy they made. and a lot of the times they build their nestes in roof of houses so the smell gets throu and its really bad.

if he was that close to you could you smell him I hear the hoopoe has a bad smell to him like the hoatzin.
