I agree with you darlin'...just be the best nurse you can be. I'm sorry your instructor was making you feel like that. I can see what she's saying, but it shouldn't be like that. Stay focused and when you get a chance sit and let it soak in. I truly feel like you'll be fabulous because you have the right mindset. You are there to learn to be the best YOU can be.

@Funkyfunand40 Thanks for the comment Robin....after the foolishness of clinicals was over and done with......... I can honestly say that I ended up learning alot of stuff in the grand skim of everything this semester....meaning that the content from this level has helped me improve in areas like Med surg and health assessment..so I happy about that.....

I'm glad to see your update! I can relate to your story with the student tech job, with the way the economy is, having that type of student nurse job on your resume helps. And being persistent is definitely the name of the game. Right now I'm on the verge of beginning a new nursing job (my first real RN job since graduation!) and I don't think I would've gotten it without being attentive and knowing people who work there. @SweetFeet2389 let me know how the job goes when you start.......yeah having people that you know at a certain hospital that you are trying to work for reallly does help.....I have been told by a family friend that as soon as I graduate she would find me a job at a local hospital here....I'm just debating should I go to a med surg floor for a little while or should I take a clinic job....I really want a year expperience or almost a year experience of med surg under my belt
