Cracks me up every time. My cousin is just like Daria it's uncanny. Even more that she's never seen the show. Each time she pulled up outside my place on her motorbike I always played this song -and she'd always ask why? ...Hah Hah! Yeah the show was great, bring it back.

@OreWaUsopp That said they could play music ANYWAY I know it's cliche' but MTV shouldn't have sold out. Granted they show the stuff they do because they have the highest ratings they've ever had showing the mind-numbing bullshit they do now. But if they really gave two fucks about music, or had any sense of integrety which they don't; they'd still show music videos predominetly. Look at FUSETV. Bottom line is I think MTV should be held acountable for not sticking to their guns.

@coolnesss16 Thats it exactly. They don't give a shit about the counterculture of the 90's that built them because they would get maybe 3/4 or half of the ratings they do now. The executives there would flop on the floor like fishes for a dime. They didn't bring Beavis and Butthead back because it's cool, they did because they knew enough people would watch it that they could make a few thousand bucks.

@Haushinka1000Hours I said the same thing , they only brought it back because they're was enough of an audience that still wanted to see beavis & butthead, enough to make money from. People are saying ''Maybe they'll bring back Daria'' I highly doubt that, Daria has only a small cult following which means MTV would see it as waste of time and space to bring back. The most I can see is them doing is showing reruns at midnight.

@HellsCowBoy666 Well their main TV Show material, with their exception of the occasional music video was all about the life of the all american antisocial, out of control person. Be it someone as stupid as Beavis and Butthead or someone as Intellectual and cynical as Daria.  Since those shows covered the drama and comedy side of that subject they thought they would give real life a try. They failed and now Beavis and Butthead are back.
