Besides, Mario isn't affected by the spinning fire at 7:45. Granted he is under water, but in that case, why are there spinning fires under water ? It is here, so it must hit you, right ?

Last thing : no human being would react so quickly or be so lucky he could do all these things. I mean it, it is humanly impossible. That being said, I assume it's a great TAS we have here, but pretend it's a human being playing the game straight ? That's bullshit.

I call bullshit on this one. I mean, first of all... That's not Super Mario Bros. 3, that's the original Super Mario Bros. 2 (known as Super Marios Bros : The Lost Levels in the western).

Next thing, killing enemies by jumping through them from the bottom is not possible. Another problem is the plants : correct me if I'm wrong, but you get hit even if the plant is sliding back in the pipe. And yet, you can see Mario run over it whitout being hurt. (To Be Continued)

it's called a TAS (Tool-Assisted Speedrun) which means that he is playing it on an emulator with features such as slowdown, frame advance and save states just to optimize the gameplay..

The reason the player keeps surviving hits which should cause death is actually the poor hit box detection on the famicon (or emulator in this case) which means that you can jump through koopa troopers heads, run over piranha plants mouths and walk through the bottom two fire balls of the flame wheels, and yeah he used a mod, which uses save states and slowdown to get the fastest time possible

@TheOhYeahGamer its not fake, he can bounce of that koopa because his vertical speed is higher than 0 (meaning he is FALLING) , mario always bounces of enemies while falling, even if he hits from underneath. it's a TAS, he uses these "glitches" to his advantage.
