  • I miss my Lost & Found.

  • Lite Brite! Christmas Crunch! I forgot all about that! What ever happened to REAL free insides in cereals?!

  • I haven't seen a golden crisp commerical in forever

  • I am so glad i was a kid in the 80's! I really think we were the coolest ever! We still played with toys, still knew out to play outside. & knew how to play a game with out a controler!

  • Those were all the cereals that I drooled at in the store...and Mom never bought because they were so sugary.

  • I had most of the toys and still have them at my days house.

  • All the crappy toys now are built in China. They were so much better in the 80's when they were built in Taiwan.

  • They made money on kids toys, kids food and kids activities.

Today (altho im not sure if its healthy), they make money on kids playing online video games.

  • I'M STARTING TO FEEL OLD.

  • Jesus Christ; California Games! LMMFAO!

  • @agonizingowner17t who gives a living fuck about ipads there cheap and useless

  • da fuh?? I thought you weren't allowed to use real cartoon characters to sponsor your product? " Advertisers may not use well-known kids' entertainers (including cartoon characters) to promote or endorse a product." What's Pop-eye sponsoring quaker's oatmeal for?

(Trying to research this stuff right now)

    confusing as crap.

  • @shakinshika They got permission from whoever owns Popeye. Or else they probably would have gotten in some copyright issues.

  • Its like they dont even try nowadays! Each commercial had its own jingle or somethan cool about it while now just has graphics and POP music! Thank God i was born in 1985... and my parents for making me in the 80s haha

  • Cool time Barbie looks like she's insane.

  • Ready to EXPAND!? XPANDERS!!!!! gay.

  • I wonder how many Silly Dilly deaths there were before it was taken off the market. That just seems like a bad idea to be flinging something around like that....

  • ...does anyone have that young jenna "dildo crunch" cereal commerical from 1981?

  • would it be ok to give those little lost and founds some xanax?? i really think it would help. :)

  • All kids want these days is those Ipods and Ipads... and cellphones... I didn't even get an electronic toy til I was older!

  • @CearyAuryn

And your point is? Why waste money on dumb toys that gather dust when you can get something that you'll use a lot and entertain you like a cell phone or iPod?

  • @3rkid2 ... 6 year olds do not need cellphones or ipods.

  • @CearyAuryn

Maybe not a cellphone, but why not an iPod? It plays fucking music, for god's sake. Just because it's a little pricey? Either way, you never specified "6 year olds".

  • @3rkid2 I have my thoughts and opinions. If you have money do so. I think kids should have these things until age 8 .. they just need to learn how to have nice things. I still think everyone should appreciate what they have. Have a good new year.

  • LOL how they just threw in the Sweetie Kitties song.

Man, I miss the 80s and 90s. 2000's suck monkey balls.

  • I saw a goatse at second one D:

  • Lol Do kids even play with toys anymore? Don't they just play Wii and Xbox now?

  • @1acroyear1

    Those are toys...

  • I sucked so bad at California games.

  • Hard to believe that all of the child actors in these ads are adults now.

  • Get the hell outta here with that Cool Time Barbie commercial, Oh Lord that is amazing!

  • i remember that light brite commercial! i had that light brite too! I think it's still at my mom's house in fact....

  • Micro Machines were simply beyond awesome.

Another testament to the supremacy of the 80's.

  • do they still bring out Christmas Crunch during the holidays

  • @Bizzylizzy9000 yes they do

  • I got "Mega Force" commercials that aired during the Chip and Dale movie pilot. They weren't like this one on here.

  • u no not suga bea

  • LIte Bright OMg

  • that lost and found ad may be depressing but it's a great ad campaign to make kids scream and shout to their parents for it because those pets are gonna die.

  • WTF happenned to LiteBrite, other than Nintendo, that was the fondest part of my childhood memories, maybe even beating out HeMan and Ghostbusters......where the hell did it go?????

  • @minneyarthorn I think they still make them, if im not mistaken, you can find them online.

  • i want the early birds game

  • So was the Yummy Mummy simply dethroned by Boo Berry, or was it a bloody, cereal revolution?

  • "the power of ROBO COP!" yeah lite brite!!

  • 3:00 Bouncin kids can flip, tumble of skate...but not bounce

    FAIL

  • lol 0:40

    GOATSE!!!

  • lol - i had silly dilly's!!! so many great toys!!!

  • I had light brights. Ah how I miss all the good toys.

Surfing Was Hard As FUCK!!!....Dam i could eat some yummy mummy too!!...THe micro machine guy was talkin fast as fuck..G.I. Joe Raider Legendary.

  • @MrSlik25 haha remember on surfing on california games how when you wiped out a shark would show up sometimes and you d hear jaws music? lol

  • Oh my gosh! I played that slap down game like two years ago in my Middle school frnech class!

  • those little lost and found look so creepy xD

  • thats not popeye, he eats spinach

  • Yummy Mummy flavoured cereal...hmmmm I'll have me some of that! :D

  • Bet that Quacker Oatmeal ad got pulled faster than Whimpy eats hamburgers

  • Im not being vulgar but at 0:38 seconds it looks like those birds are stretching someone's butt XD

  • That silly dilly's game looks like a great way for kids to knock each other's teeth out:)

  • Cool Times Barbie...lol...what would Barbie be today?...Peta Barbie? Political Barbie? Reality Show Barbie? American Idol Barbie? Vampire Barbie? Whisper Barbie? The Biggest Loser Barbie?...the possibilities are endless :p

  • even 80's can do much better and exciting commercial than these 2010's

  • @jihahmj99 I wish they still did almost every commercial with traditional animation

  • @jihahmj99 their music is even catchier and annoying in that "sticks-in-your-head" way

  • they should bring these kind of toys back

  • omg I STILL love connect four lol....that game never gets old

  • Though we can already guess, does anybody have the conclusion for the Super Golden Crisp ad?

  • And another thing: call me crazy, but I always considered the Triple-Trouble animals actually Granny Goodwitch's minions.

  • @Ian16545 Or maybe the Blob's?

  • Lol I have Service City :D

  • 6:20 if i saw those things at ma window i would have got a baseball bat :P

  • lmao oliveole in a bikinni the hell.

  • omg, I remember alot of these because I was just turning about 4 or 5 when these came out. Brings back memories.... :)

  • haha, goatse @ :37

  • @brokendays LMFAO.

  • lol! i still sing the lightbrite song!!! when im alone o.0

  • popeye is a hypocrite first ir was spinach thar made him strong now its suddenly oatmeal wtf popeye

  • they should bring back the popeye commercial of people washing their hands.

  • How did you get ahold of these? IrateGamer was just talking about yummy mummy!

  • lol they tried to glamorize a fukkin futon.

  • i miss YUMMY MUMMY

  • wow! Galoob is my new word!

  • omg thats cool yummy mummy was part of the group...... wheres boo berry??? the lost and found hobo animals watch you sleep

  • cool time barbie.... lol

  • Holy shit those Little Lost and Found dolls are freakin depressing!

  • @HECTROLOSIS I know, like there wasn't enough misery in the real world. Some toy company marketing exec decided it was a great selling point for their stuffed toys.

  • @HECTROLOSIS I thought the bouncing Kids were quite depressing too.. like the more you have of a set, it's supposed to look cool, but they just looked lamer together..

Oh I just watched the Little Lost and Founds. agreed..

  • As violent and crazy as the RoboCop movies were I'm surprised they marketed so many toys for em.

  • Ha, "California Games"...Damn, i remember waste'n hours of my life tryna beat that game...lol...Classic sh*#..!!!

  • its so funny u dont see commericals on tv nowadays for board games made by the parker brothers, all u see is ps3, xbox, wii, psp, shows how lazy ppl are

  • What? Board games are just as lazy as video games

  • "shows how lazy ppl are"

It's ironic because you're too lazy to even type out the word "people." :D Bwahaha, just jokin' around.

  • one question where do you find these commericals

  • lol early birds goatse moment

  • i remember seeing that fast talking guy from the micro machines commercial on an episode of saved by the bell, he played mr. testaverde.

p.s. i loved fruity yummy mummy!

  • OMG I had the silly dilly game!!!!!! And the lost and found cat! I got them for xmas

  • how did we talk like that and understand every 1 sevral comericals are talkin a mile a mintue, and comericals with popye so halirous and i had the boucin kids, light bright nd early bird catches worm at about 3yrs old

  • The boys toys were so much more awesome! I hated those dumb dolls.

  • i knew the Guess Who cards did NOT talk. i cant believe so many people thought they did.

  • mmm, olive oyl in a bikini. blow me down, if you catch my drift

  • DAMEIT they ruend popeye

  • Stop telling me how to live my life fox 32!!!

  • 6:47 footbag lol

  • i still lite brite

  • Sugar bear is a stoner

  • WOW! Do you reckon they do that robocop costume in adult sizes?

  • i reckon i don't rightly know try google

  • I recken you try E-Bay

  • if galoob was the main toy company then who is it now?

  • I remember seeing that ad for Xpanders.

  • 0_o so many things that kids wasted their parent's money on... wow

  • Fruity Yummy Mummy I don't remember that one and I grew up in the 80's.

  • It was short lived, but totally the best.

  • LOL Lite Brite! For kids in this era, who didn't play Connect Four and Guess Who?

  • yeah!!! And kids STILL love connect 4 and guess Who!!!

  • Sugar bear sounds like Snoop dog.

  • Did the announcer say "a tit for you, from Fox 30" at the end?

  • nah, he said "tip" =]

  • what was mega force? a micro machines rippoff?

  • IS THAT Rob Paulsen's voice in the Early Birds commercial? <33333

  • I love that Light Brite commerical. My sister had one .and she gave it to me. But then It broke., Memories.

  • i love lite bright i love making picyures really pop out

  • TOTALLY!!!!!

  • barbie is a slut

  • agreed, I was always given them as gifts as a kid but never did much with them -_-;

  • Gee barbie witout a helmet for a skateboard? what a lesson to kids!

  • well barbie is a girl, so it's not like she has a brain to protect that warrants using a helmet.

  • i know right

  • "not the real thing" did they really have to tell kid that miniature jets werent real?

  • I think that meant that if kids come across any miniature car toys that don't have the MicroMachines label, they're "not the real thing"-----in other words, don't bother buying those cheap knockoffs, kids, we're the real thing!

  • I'm 25 and I still love to play Early Birds.

  • old school to think i had the early bird and light bright when i was young lol

  • why do popeye's nephews look exactly like him?

  • Kewl.

  • How come you never hear jingles like that anymore in commercials? LOL Oh well, I'm gonna go downstairs and find my Micro Machine collection! YAY!!

  • Yeah, jingles definitely have gone out of style. I think overall the perception is that kids are much more savvy and sophisticated than they were twenty years ago, and so commericals are less naive and childish now. There's some truth in that perception of kids, but I would argue that a big part of it is the the culture and the advertisers TRYING to make the kids grow up faster.

  • SGT. SLAUGHTER!!!!!!!!

  • OMFGGGGGG!

I almost had an orgasm when I saw LIGHT BRIGHT!!!! XD

Dosm't get anymore classic than THAT!

  • Indeed, indeed, indeed.

  • The Bouncing Kids song reminds me of the theme song of the first season of The Facts of Life.

  • Gawd I hated the Barbie commercials

  • I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that we see the shark, Popeye punches it and Wimpy eats it....or Olive Oil in a bikini

  • I completely forgot about the pink Barbie living room furniture!...oh the squeal heard round the world when I got that Christmas morning...

  • Is the kid in the Goliath commercial saying "Release creature!"? ...That really doesn't look like a creature to me.

  • LITE BRITE! fuck yeah billy fuck yeah

  • Galoob owned the 80's.

  • cap'n crunch sounds drunk

  • i always wanted to eat cocoa puffs because they showed the puffs coming out of a ladle full of chocolate syrup... when i got older and ate them, lets say, i was depressed. Also, those little lost and found dolls are so cute!

  • Yummy Mummy? Guess that replaced Boo Berry?

  • Robocop, I love how they made a toy line modeled after what was originally an "R" rated movie.

  • lol. very true.

  • Holy shit, Little Lost and Founds is like guilt trip marketing. I even want one now and I'm a grown man :[

  • Hey, I've been looking for that Little Lost and Found commercial for ages on here. And today I just stumble on it by accident. Go figure.

I never wanted one of the dolls, but the commercial made such an impression on me as a little kid that I actually intend to write and illustrate a book inspired by the mood and the basic idea. However, the story would take a much darker turn than anything in the commercial would suggest....

  • There is really l lot of parts in a full balanced breakfast...

  • i had the early birds when i was a kid and the litebright

  • I had Litebrie, and it was the SHITTIEST THING I HAVE EVER MADE A CREATION WITH!

But it was really fun anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The lost and found commercials are so sad :'(

  • The other version of the Lost & Founds commercial is in Related Videos section on "Late 80s commercials 1987-1988". That's hilarious on 8:03 when the red chip falls in the popcorn and the player freaks out from that. XD

  • love how they made commercials that told kids that any non-living object can do just about anything...i had to laugh when the ppl said "sure, rice krispies can talk" and they had a voice saying "snap crackle pop" akya so thats what sound they make but another one is the gushers commercials... i always wanted my hoped my head would turn into a fruit! XD

  • I think THIS is what my boyfriend's brother used to have to watch every day... LUCKY HIM!!

  • Haha.. lightbrite, those kids couldn't make those designs on their own, all these commercials were weird, it's like this, this & this sold seperately, adult assembly required

  • The Little Lost and Founds commercial is super messed up.

  • I had the Barbie Sweet Roses furniture and totally forgot. Seeing them brought it all back. Beautiful. I had a Bouncing Baby, not kid. The kids always scared me [esp the one on the bike. *shudders*]

    Thanks again!

  • that golden crisp bear was so hardcore

  • i still have my copy of california games.

  • lol blakeisking- I was thinking the same thing. My sis and I still play it once in a while, when the Nintendo actually works. Did you ever hit the seagull in the hackey sack game? lol. The background music of the bmx one still haunts me to this day, I'll find myself humming it sometimes. Sad.

  • yeah. always fun. i just figured out a month ago that after you throwthe frisbee, you have to catch it. i always thought you just had to see how far you could throw it.

  • No way- same here! We were all, "THAT's the purpose of this! The guy on the other end has to catch the frisbee. Duh."

And the stupid frisbee always went so slow, unless you hit the button when the bar was on a certain color.

  • hahahahaha thats all i have to say, i love these adverts:P the barbie ones a funny!

  • micromachines were soooo awesome

  • go for it...... connect 4!

  • Wow. It's kinda disturbing how much of this crap I remember... ^_^;

  • the barbie song cracks me up, i wish they would play this stupid shit on the radio

  • The play shit just as stupid on the radio though.

  • oh no bouncing kids can.... 19 yrs later and thats tunes back in my head lol but good job

  • I remember playing Light Bright when I was little(I had fun with it).

  • I used to have a lite brite when I was 10. Do they still do Christmas Capn' Crunch? And who did the voice for the sugar bear?

  • Yummy Mummy!

  • Thanks for posting! Love the Yummy Mummy commercial!

  • MEGA FORCE: Greatest toy ever. EVER.
