@SimplaNaruto yeah his store looks a little different. if u still didn't find it, go to add-ons, disc-based add-ons, then look in the section marked M-L the middle section and it's there. took me awhile but i found it that way. hope that helps or hope u found it by now. :)

In the download description of the ps2 add on it shows what models the download supports. on the bottom of your ps3 should be the model number. This is why it doesn't work for all ps3 systems. Btw doesn't work for slim to my understanding.

Yes, It's true that the ps3 originally could play both ps1 and ps2 games, but since people kept complaining about it's expensive price... sony decided to... remove the ps2 Emotion Engine and such which makes the ps3 smaller and essentially, cheaper.

Only 20,60 and 80 gigabyte ps3's have the capabilities to play ps2 games. 20 being the best out of the three for ps2 games.

All ps3's can still ps1 games so it isn't too horrible. You can either download pcsx2 on your pc or but a new ps2
