Yes it is implied he was ressurected and in BO2 near the end Kain asks him "do you so wish to return to the grave old friend?" thats proof enough for me.

Here's something I noticed: Vorador's Masion is riddled with images of a 'specific female' ancient. Janos (in SR2) said that Vorador "had suffered much" and couldn't forgive humanity. I've been wondering (I am open to feedback here): Did Vorador have a romantic link with this Ancient female when he was turned? And was her death the cause for his contempt for humanity?

the ancients were all wiped out way before vorador was even born so no he has never had a romantic link with the female ancient you see in his mansion. the murals are merely for raziel to find and to provide background on the ancients themselves as a race.

the only relationship vorador has with anyone besdes janos are his children in blood omen 2 which kain uses for his army oh and umah who is also his childe.

Vorador is very old. it takes centuries for a vampire to change to the form he currently has. Not even Kain has changed that much, and Raziel states that he served Kain for a millennium.

So the transformation process is pretty slow.

Vorador even says "what sorcery he and the others laid on the sword afterwards" so there where other ancients around when he was sired.

Vorador could probably be the first human changed by the blood curse, but he did live while other ancients lived.

I agree with Majinkura about Vorador having a love affair with an ancient. But he did lose a loved one as is evident by the portrait of the woman in his dining room. He has the ancient murals painted all over his mansion as tribute to his former masters.

Janos is revived by returning his heart. I wonder if Vorador was resurrected the same way, by having his head returned to his body. If that were the case, the only remaining question surrounding Vorador's mysterious resurrection would be "who"?

Actually, it takes place around the same time. Defiance ends shortly after Kain in Blood Omen refuses to sacrifice himself. What I'm wondering is if Vorador can be revived in the same way Janos was. That would explain how he appeared in Blood Omen 2, even though he was executed in Blood omen.

Oh... I didn't play Blodd Omen 1 (but I just bought it !!!!!!!!!!!) but if you're right it's an excellent question... So I will play again to Blood Omen 2, play the 1 and see myself. But I think Vorador can't be resurrected like that..it would be strange and too much..... Janos and Kain are heroes (an ancient and a chosen), Vorador is just a common Vampire. And I think a heart and a head are a little different :)

Vorador is the very first transformed and not 'born' vampire. I think this makes him pretty unique.

@lukecpapa Vorador didn't ressurect... BO2 plays in an altered timeline, the timeline was changed at the end of SR2, and then Kain gasped and spoke about the Hylden.

So in BO2, it is possible that Vorador wasn't ressurected, but infact was never dead and that Moebius crusade to eliminate all vampires didn't go so well.

Raziel didn't just place the heart to its place, it didnt work. The process needed something from Raziel himself. My best guess for Voradors resurrecter is the Elder Kain, who is now purified.

The spectral reaver is obvious. Kain, on the other hand would only really be able to stab.

I meant as an unlockable, but, even then, in soul reaver 1 and 2 you could still carry weapons and wield the reaver. Seems a waste to come up with such a blade and never use it in play.

why not email the people who produced the game? It's a bloody long shot but companies do listen to their fans from time to time, who knows, you could have just come up with the perfect way of them capping off the story AND earning twice as much money as they should do :P

it's strange that vorador said at 1.40 "i thought I did ones" that take us to SR2 that's ok but later at 3.05 he said Janos died 500 year ago... but in soul reaver 2 he said 600. it's strange.

He's in the Blood Omen era, yes, but in the altered timeline (the timeline created by Kain killing William). This conversation takes place sometime between Kain meeting Vorador and Vorador being executed.

lol maybe they just dont like him, so they tell him what he needs to know and go poof to get away from him. *thinks* actually it's Kain that mainly goes poof, and that's obvious cause Raziel hates him and Kain doesn't want to stick around long enough for Raziel to kill him (I guess)
