And that's why Paul is my favorite. Even through all the shit that went on in the band and everything that happened between him and John, and even Ringo walking out and who knows what else with George, he stayed true to the band. He's such a great person.

@beckslove33 A really fine song played superbly by John and Paul. It was kind of Paul to just go to Abbey Road with John without prior notice to record this song. One would assume that had Paul written a song about his marriage to Linda and had asked John to record a Beatles song about it without the others or prior notice, that he would have had the door slammed in his face. But Paul was the better person then. How did they put up with heroin-dulled John with Yoko glued to his side at all time?

@davehutchinson67 Do you really think that's what John Lennon would have wanted? I don't agree with what Chapman did but he still deserves to be treated as a human being. And one of the things John wanted most in the world was peace and by saying something like that your acting in the opposite way as he would have wanted you to.

I know who wrote it and i know lennon and only lennon wrote it and they got along so well that lennon gave mac co writing credits on give peace a chance even though it was only lennon..
