  • i dont know what else to say about him but what a MEAN, EVIL, GREEDY TO THE BONE HYPROCRITICAL C***!!!

    - end of message -

  • He's whining about people importing cheaper good online. But he wasn't whining when the big retailers were importing cheaper clothes from China in the 80's, and ruining the local clothing industry. That was competition, but the public importing their own goods is unfair. You and your mates can bugger off Harvey.

  • F--K him

  • Gerry Harvey is a money hungry asshole, his latest rant (23/11/10) is complaining about Australians buying goods cheaper online and demanding offshore companies to be taxed, He also says local retailers are under threat, yeah just like they were under threat years ago when you set up your superstores Mr Harvey, What a conceited asshole you really are! Try dropping your overblown profit margins and Australians will buy from you!

  • Hate your ad's you annoying fucking cunts!

  • I thought harvey norman shops were doing pretty well in ireland! Well i still like harvey norman shops

  • RETAIL giant Harvey Norman has compared Ireland's economic downturn to the return of the "potato famine", writes Billy Cantwell.

Speaking at yesterday's annual meeting, chief executive Gerry Harvey described the performance of his 13 Irish stores as "catastrophic"

  • and said he regretted expanding into the Irish market. But he added that the investment was too big to pull out now."In Ireland, we are down 25- 40pc like for like on last year. It's catastrophic," he told reporters.Phew, just imagine you opened in Ireland; you'd want to go and cut your throat. The potato famine, someone said, the return of the potato famine in Ireland."

As an Irish person let me just say i will be boycotting Harvey Norman !

  • From the numbers you were quoting it sounds like you (and a whole lot of other people) already were!!! :)
