@Darkgaard Characters like Gangrel, Dude Love, Doink the clown (as a face), etc. were not liked very much when they were wrestling. Now that they are gone everyone seems to want them back. I've always like Gangrel/The Brood. As well as the others I've named, plus many more characters that have not been brought back. It's all a matter of opinion. Sadly, now it seems to be just VINCES opinion.

I thought Gangrel was fucking amazing.

One of my best experiences ever watching wrestling... I remember WCW making a huge deal about Warrior debuting. He was in the ring cutting a long, boring promo on Hogan, so I thought "let's see what's on Raw..."

I flip the channel, and I just see that everything's black and red, I hear this awesome music, and I see a Lost Boys-ish vampire rising through a ring of fire. Between that and seeing him wrestle, and I was blown away ever since.

@S1NeR421: I ALWAYS thought the DX gimmick was garbage, it wasn't funny, and that "Suck it!" is one of the worst catchphrases I ever heard. The only people in it I don't hate are Rick Rude (RIP), Kane and Tori (Terri Poch). Yes, that includes the sainted HBK.

Gangrel has said in a shoot interview that he, Edge and Christian were never let in on what was supposed to be going on with their characters so they just went out there and did whatever they were told. Also, Vince didn't like him.

Gangrel was one of the best gimmicks WWF ever had, & was way underrated by the company in my opinion, he should've at least held the European or Tag straps, & to be honest, how relevent would Gangrel & a faction of young up & coming Wrestlers, such as Kevin Thorn, form a True Blood Vampire type group, that'd be awesome. How about bringing back The Brood? They do have Christian, & Edge if he ever returns available? LOL, that'll never happen though.
