Full size USB connectors would make the puck HUGE. The micro USB is much more useful for their application. This is also a charging unit, completely different from a USB hub. Should sell well, they're just starting to hit major retailers right now and won a bunch of awards at CES.
He wasn't used to using one. I have one and have no issues plugging any of my adapters into the unit, and other comments on here agree with me. USB may be easier to plug in for uncoordinated people, but it would greatly increase the diameter and double the thickness of the actual unit, eliminating the practice of it being a small and lightweight charging solution.
Where did you get your accessories and chargepod from. Costco sells it for &50 budle pack. with six charge adapters included.

also the ionhubs tips are super easy to plug into the hub (unlike this)
and i have a tip especially for the ipod (works with iphone!) and a separate one for usb

it is not a battery, so it is basically a usb hub for power only. and usb would be a lot easier to plug in, look at the problems he had
