Like they said at the end, the game brings back the feel of the old "Shandalar" game which holds a special place in my heart for being...well, sort of badass for its time. I may just get DotPw for the PC, but only if I could play online, otherwise, I don't think it'd be worth the money. Still, it looks like it could be a good game.

Sucks that the PC version will only offer the single player campaign. How hard would it of been if they'd implemented online gameplay to the PC version as well?

go to 5:20, you can customize it, its the same as building your own deck, and you are making it sound like world of warcraft, and even though that would be cool with the creatures in the game, it wouldn't be the same

Bombs - cards which will rule in your game ie. plainswalkers or jitte(in betrayers) or any dragon)

Removal - do it really need a note? xD

Effective Spells - tricks,etc.

Aggro - fast creatures around 2 mana

Dregs - unplayable cards (never pick these xD)

always try to think about BREAD when drafting but also keep on mind which colors/play style,etc. do you want to draw

Well, the people I know (who are exceptional) use dual-color and Shard decks. (I just got Hellkite Overlord of the Jund shard, so I'm using a Tri-color or Shard deck.)

why is it sarcasm? i mean it will be on it will be on xbox live so cards can be updated constantly, the layout looks hell of a lot more cool, you can always play against bots if you don't feel like playing people, plus would you rather play magic on a computer screen or a 50+ inch plasma screen tv?

I will probably still play it for fun and teaching newbies. But the fact is that MTGO will live on as long as this doesn't cover Magic in it's entirety. As far as I know, you CANNOT change your lands, which is a seemingly minimal part, but in reality is a large factor. You also can only use certain unlocked cards in certain decks. The level of customization of MTGO must be implemented first.

And as for computer or plazma screen, my computer is hooked to a large TV. I have you beat there. ;)

and expecting players to need reminder texts on non new mechanics is insulting

the community is very strong and 90% of their sales go to those who already play the game

thats why the emphasis should be on players rewards like better fnm promos and tournie prize layouts

Well if you went to the official Magic site, they actually took a lot of feedback lately and they are going to give out better prizes and fnm promos when Conflux is released so they haven't forget us regulars.

I'm miffed about the Mythic Rarity as well but its not that bad since there aren't many of them and sadly, they needed to do it because Hasbro saw Magic losing money, so they needed to do something like this or Magic would be dead. And Mythic Rares do live up to their names.

That's pretty amazing that allowing both people to do have free mulligans makes it easier to win. I guess it doesn't make it harder for you to win when you wouldn't want to mulligan and they do use that option. Thanks for the insight!

I hope they at least have the option to play a real game of Magic.

in some formats you get a free mulligan, for example the multiplayer format allows for one free mulligan. And I can sense you don't know what you are talking about because many casual play groups don't bother with mulligans.
