I really want to know... how the heck do you come up with these numbers? Some of them are from incredibly obscure films. I mean, really: who remembers from "Being There" that Chance, the Gardner's underwear was woven in a factory destroyed in 1948? Or that Dennis Quaid brags about a wine bottle from 1921 in the remake of "The Parent Trap"? Or that Shirley MacLain says "He'll be out in 1955 in "The Apartment"? Those are not major quotes. Do you have a searchable database of film scripts?
i would have preffered 1985 being from watchmen. even though the movie sucks ass compared to the actual novel. plus you did kinda use back to the future 3 times already.
He didn't include the first Back to the Future. "We were known as the Van Brahns in 1908" and "petroleum in 1955 is hard to come by" quotes were both from Back to the Future III. The "creating an alternate 1985" quote was from Back to the Future II.
I'm afraid that the "1955" quote is indeed from the first film. The reason they needed the lightning strike in the first film was because they had no plutonium. By the third film, plutonium wasn't even an issue because the car now had the solid waste into fuel conversion thingy.
i was going to try and list all the movie titles to their matching years but i see that u posted a complete list. maybe if u do another, dont post the list and see if the youtubers can collectively figure it out.. this is just a humble suggestion. i really enjoyed watching this clip. Great work!!!!!
Oddly enough, I do plan on creating one last clipshow in May and making a contest out of it. The prize will be a handful of my favorite DVD's and it will be free to enter. Just my way of saying thanks to everyone who tunes in.
