I ride MTB freeride, and dont see any reason to laugh at them.Those, who say, that this is pathetic or that the riders are amateurs, is retarded.The only error of a few of them is that they do not throw their butts back behind the saddle.But after all, this is quite a complicated descent for an XC biker...when you have high frame, narrow bars and thin rims and most commonly ride XC, not downhill, you will definitely get confused on this one and recall all your skills, when it is too late.

for racing is mostly used hardtails. But again its a matter of preference. I prefer to use my hardtail for races.

how do you say "calapies" in english? "calapies are those pedals which fix with the shoes, well meanwile they're going down the mountain they shouldn't fix them on. they are also some "calapies" which are half normal pedal.
