Just a little tip...after you spray it purple and tape it...spray it purple again before spraying the black.  That will prevent the little bit of "bleeding" of the black paint under the tape, and will give nice clean lines. Try it and see. And methinks it needs more coats of clear to get the glassy finish you're after. Cool looking job though. No doubt about that.

I actually used the Micro-Mesh Soft Touch Finishing Pads that are available sell them online at Stew Mac for both the clear coat and the fret. I used them dry for the frets and wet for the guitar body.

Sweet my berretta is going too be painted too I might white and black it.Then throw back in the original seymor duncan vh pickup.I played it so mutch I need too paint it scince they dont have a pickgaurd I wore a hole to the wood lol.I was thinking of getting a chandler neck 24 frett due too the fact I wore the frets down bad and it buzzez everywhere.Definately a prodject guitar.I want too go unfinished with the neck and go maple as well.I used too play on maples pretty mutch rose right now.
