This term was progressively co-opted by the collectivist political class, to me, this is apparent more so in the US than most English speaking countries where the term still holds the original meaning to the majority of people.

@ATRFLUID. I agree with you, but I would suggest to watch Zeitgeist Moving Forward, here on Youtube. Its the best I think, explaining the situation we are in now.
Zeitgeist - the Movie = Peter Joseph's "hobby project". But very good anyhow. I would score it 6 or 7 out of 10.
Zeitgeist - Addendum = Even better than the first one. Maybe 8/10
Zeitgeist Moving Forward = Very very good! Most important dokumentary EVER, I think! 10/10 !! See it, and judge for yourself.
