Don't need it on downshifting, but you do need it for takeoff of course.

on downshifting u still need to use the clutch. also when u put in firt gear for takeoff

@timemaster44 Ummmmmmm....nope. Listen to the shifting...does it sound like a clutch was used? Do a search on "s1000rr shift assist" and you might learn something.
