Ahhh, Andy was so cute here and love his voice!. Sure am glad the reporter told Susan George to move out of the way because she was blocking the view of cute little Andy!! LOL
It's great to see Robert Stigwood and Lily Tomlin here. Even john Farrar the writer! The only time I've ever seen what he looks like. Awesome songwriter!!!
Hi, I love '78, but '79 and '82 are my favourite years for music. Can you please tell me where you got this footage? I have never seen this show re-aired on Rage, so I'm guessing this is from an original now wiped episode of Countdown?
Yes, they do suck today. The difference is in the attitude.
'Celebs' of this time still had a sense of normality as if they're ordinary people with that extra-bit of talent. Now, it's like they feel they were born to be different from everybody else - as if they're better than the average human being.
Yea. But it is the public who has really changed the celebrities, by obsessing about them, the tabloids, the paparazzi, and all the attention focused not on their careers, but on their personal lives.
That kind of treatment/stalking gives them a g-d complex. Seems to, for many.
Woah, great flashback to the 70s!! Terrific. In the end there, John can move his hips even more sexily than Olivia! haha Also, John Farrar seems like a really nice guy.
alice cooper to molly; you look great, molly: I know

Ah, damnit. Mr. Stigwood seems to be a mild mannered one. I feel very badly what happened to him 12 years prior to this.

she has both! I disagree with you her voice is soooo strong. She can sing soft and sweet and then suddenly really belt it out. She's amazing!

I'm sure Ian 'Molly' Meldrum (that host) would be very flattered to hear that. Iggy Pop called him 'dog face'.

The reporter being Ian 'Molly' Meldrum was most likely both drunk and coked-up.
